Casa Me took over the old Le Penguin space in Sconset Square, and it's been completely renovated. It was crowded on a Thursday night, with a vibe that was a bit different than other places in Westport in a good way. The food and drinks were both excellent. We sat at the bar, and had a great evening. We'll definitely be back again.
This is a great spot for a date night. The food is amazing and it is my new favorite modern Italian spot in Westport. It’s been busy since it’s new so I would try to make a reservation in advance unless you want to gamble on a spot at the bar.
Really enjoyed the dining experience at Casa Me. The food and cocktails were phenomenal. The service was actually what blew me away because it’s so hard to find a place with great customer service these days but here is 10/10 for sure! Loved the intimate vibe this place has and look forward to going back.
The space is nice and gives off a good feeling. The food was very good. Service was lacking. Will definitely go back again, but not for a third time unless service is better. Update: Went again and service was much better. Host was gracious and servers friendly and attentive. Food was still very good.
Had an amazing dinner last night at Casa Me! From the cocktail to the dessert everything was made to perfection and the atmosphere was alive! We will be back!
Great new place, with outstanding food and drink! I had the Mafaldine Al limone pasta dish with fried capers and lemon sauce, and my husband had the Branzino. The server we had was also fantastic, very attentive without being intrusive...I believe his name was Jeff. I'd request him again next time for sure.
The food is absolutely absolutely delicious! All fresh ingredients. I’ve been to Italy many times -the food at Casa Me reminded me of being in Rome and Firenze.. Bravo to the chef Emiliano 10of10.. Tonight at an event, I had his Risotto with about 50 other people..everyone commenting on the taste and presentation, DELICIOUS! Wishing you all the success ever !
Management is extremely unfriendly. Went here twice before writing a review. I don’t know if it’s the stress of being a new restaurant but had encounters with both the owners as well as management who have been both rude and unwelcoming. Sad to give 1 star because every dish we ordered was phenomenal. Most places in Westport we eat at regularly are much more gracious to their customers
First time and last time. Manager couldn't have been more arrogant and rude. I would think not a great long term service approach to build a business, but like some of the other negative reviews about service here, it will likely be a quick race to the bottom.
Today December 15, me and 5 girlfriends went to this "new place in town" , we had make the reservation a month ago because this "new place" is soo overrated that even making a reservation is so hard they dont answer the phone and cannot make even an in-person reservation. Anyways we had been assigned a low table and one of my friends asked if possible to get a high table to be more comfortable, and we were changed to a high table. Then, a guy who I am not sure if I should call him manager because he was the rudest person you could ever encounter in a restaurant with the worse customer care you could ever get, he kept telling us throughout our dinner that he needed the table by 730 pm keep in mind that our first drinks arrived at 630pm our reservation was at 6pm and as per this guy we needed to LEAVE by 730pm this GUY keep walking by our table looking at our plates and reminding us every 15 minutes that we needed to leave by 730pm ‍‍ I mean who can drink, eat and have dessert in that amount of time 1 hour and 15 minutes? And we are talking about 6 people in one table. Anyways, He kept coming to the table to check that we are all aware about the time AND that there were not more orders coming up. The waiter could not even offer us any dessert and this GUY even dare to cancel our las round of drinks!!!!!!! Who does that ??? He was disrespectful, rude and unable to even apologize for making all 6 of us very uncomfortable and disappointed
