Gabriele's of Westport Is a blend of Italian fine dining and bistro charm. The good is well presented and tastes of traditional Italian flare mixed with more contemporary bistro style. We ate here Saturday night with our friends and had an amazing meal. I’m only sorry that we didn’t go here when they were located in Greenwich right around the corner from us. The grilled octopus was amazing. The halibut was delicious. And the desserts were heavenly.
Gabriele’s is absolutely incredible. A beautiful steak house with great drinks and knowledgeable bartenders. Whether you’re ordering off the menu or a classic cocktail, you will not be disappointed. The cheeseboard we ordered paired perfectly with our drinks. We finished with the napoleon for dessert and I may have to go back just to order it again. I can’t wait to come back and try one of their steaks.
This was selected as our brunch spot after a girls' morning get-together. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. On a cold Saturday morning, the fireplace was clutch. We arrived when they first opened so it was nice to almost have the place to ourselves.Food: 5/5
The best!!! I just had a wonderful early dinner at the bar and the food and service was amazing!!! We own a restaurant and I 100% recommend Gabriella’s! The bone in filet was like butter! The Tuna Tartar so delicious!! I wish I didn’t live so far in Branford.
Phenomenal dining experience!!! Very cool atmosphere, great service, friendly, quick and knowledgeable staff - which is hard to find these days - and the food! My gosh, beautiful presentation, every dish was masterfully -crafted. Gabrielle’s is a true gem.
My partner and I were so excited to eat here since we had heard amazing things and were honestly so disappointed. I have never been treated with such disdain by a hostess before and being greeted with a brief up and down stare and silence for 5 minutes is not how we wanted to start our night. The food was good but if we're going to pay that much for dinner the service should be excellent and it simply wasn't- very disappointed and will not be returning here. Go out to dinner in New Haven where people are actually nice to customers!
The best restaurant around. The food its amazing from appetizers to desert. I wish I can said I have a favorite dish but it will be as hard as choosing between your kids lol. I love everything I had and if you love desserts just come here to taste the most authentic and flavorful dessert. The atmosphere its beyond amazing the staff its so helpful and well trained. I can go on and on just visit this place and I bet you won't regret it.
Valet was very friendly, Jonathan our waiter was extremely attentive - food was decadent. 5star experience- we can't wait to come back !
Going to the New Gabrielle's in Westport feels like you are being transported back to its old location in Greenwich,Ct. The vibe , decor , fireplace and wait service were outstanding not to mention the Martinis which were shaken extensively to perfection !! This place is High End all the way; right down to the bathrooms which had a feel of being in the most exquisite hotel in NYC ...Danielle Gabrielle did this place right and you can see the quality throughout this beautiful establishment. Rarely do you get such a high quality experience with reasonable pricing Lori and I had the Tomahawk Steak cooked to perfection rare + 1! the quality and taste were outstanding in every bite.Our sides were spinach Au Gratin with fried onion rings which were gourmet all the way..Their true flavor had nothing over powering just a medley of flavors that were intoxicating to the palate. As for the desert's we had the hazelnut Soufflé , the Napoleon and the Chocolate lava cake which were all light not heavy but full of flavor which was some of the best we have ever eaten !! Our conclusion : 5 stars+ from the decor, to the outstanding service and most importantly the food Daniel Gabrielle has hit another home run with his new Westport Location.We can't wait to go back!
Beautifully decorated with a posh vibe. Enjoyed an exquisite lunch with colleagues. I ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer. It was a very large portion consisting of 2 crab cakes that were served with mango salsa and avocado slices. I can't rave enough about them. They were absolutely delicious!! I then enjoyed a very large beet salad with pistachios and fried goat cheese. It was also excellent. Although, it could have used just a slight bit more dressing. I would definitely recommend this place. If you are attending a performance at the playhouse, it is literally next door actually attached. Sadly, I did not take a photo of my salad.
