We had a great dinner here. It was quickly served as well. I believe the owner is Joe even came over to us to check in with our meal. We over ordered-the portions were great and tasted delicious. We had pepperoni pizza, buffalo chicken salad, fried pickles and French fries!!! There was a bit of a disturbance which involved a person, who appeared intoxicated, the owner handled it wonderfully. He was calm and professional.
The guy behind the counter and Andrew were AWESOME! They made us a vegetable pizza when there weren’t any left! Also they were so kind and THE RESTURANT WAS ONE OF THE CLEANEST RESTAURANTS IVE EVER SEEN, SPARKLING!
Outpost has been my go to pizza place now for the past 1/2 year. I'm there for lunch slices or dinner pies & salad 3x month on average. Best pizza in town without a doubt! Willie, the pizza maker, is also a terrific guy and takes genuine pride in his work as does Joe the owner. And the shop is always clean and well maintained. GREAT addition to Wspt.
This place is absolutely awful. First I don’t know what this owner is talking about. There is never a wait literally never a wait or long lines. I’ve been in a couple times the staff is always sitting down watching TV. I ordered an eggplant Parmesan, which was burnt to the point I literally couldn’t give it to my dog. The staff is rude. The pizza was awful. Normally I don’t make these kind of reviews but with the two experiences I had and looking at the responses the owner has made. I will gladly go there every single day for a full week at 1 o’clock lunchtime and again around 6 o’clock dinner time and take a picture and post it to show you that there is never a wait let alone the hour long waits he claims there are. You can go at any time and I would say you have about a 95% chance if they’re not being even anyone in front of you at the register ordering. I agree with some of the other posters I think anyone who’s posting a five star review is probably related to the owner and there’s a reason why they’re 5 star or one star. Trader Joe’s frozen pizza is significantly better.
Consistently burnt, mediocre pizza. Was worth it for convenience before they added $8 per pizza earlier this year as I live less than 3 minutes away but sadly they ruined themselves. Hopefully something better takes over this location ASAP.
I’ve been eating from Outpost in Stamford for at least 10 years. So I decided to give this Westport location a try and it was truly horrible. First off I ordered a cheeseburger deluxe which, in Stamford, comes with slaw, pickles, tomato’s lettuce and onions and fries on the side. The one from Westport came with pickles and law and fries but that was it. My burger was so under cooked that I had to throw it out after one bite. I also ordered chicken Marsala for later, it came with pasta for the pasta to be ziti instead on a plane penne pasta. Idk if it’s different owners or what, but if I wasn’t at work I would’ve went to the store in person and got my money back. Stick to outpost Stamford because this one is trash.
STAY AWAY! RUDE OWNER AND BAD FOOD The pizza here is very bland and the crust is hard as a rock. I would suggest going down the street to Joe's. Originally when I wrote this review I had given 3 stars. However, the owner responded in a sarcastic manner claiming I was related to Joe's pizza which I'm not since I had mentioned it. So now I am here revising my review to 1 star a first. Glad to know the owner is as appalling as the pizza!
I have actually done both dine-in, and takeout. Love their pies, especially the "stinger" style. Great luncheon special too. Parking: Plenty of parking on 3 sides of the bldg.
Good priced lunch special. The aloha pizza is amazing try it. Best slice I've had all year
Always delicious and employees are always smiling. The kids can't get enough of the garlic knots! Just wish they were open on Sundays but worth the wait to Monday! :
