Very disappointing. I always read reviews before we try out a new restaurant, and usually ignore the bad ones, but in this case I shouldn't have. This place is a tacky version of Olive Garden, masquerading as 'fine Italian cuisine'. Modena is the birthplace of Pavarotti, so I expected some nice Italian music, but they were playing pop rock??? The bread rather than being home cooked warm Italian was little sticks of cold Melba toast. We had minestrone and the salmon entree. The soup was delicious and piping hot, but the salmon was frozen, lukewarm, and unappetizing. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because of the soup and the tiramisu dessert. The entry is via a tacky wig shop, and there is no self parking. If you're expecting upscale Italian food and ambiance avoid this place.
Place is great , really feels like Italy . Food is amazing, probably the best Italian place in LA . The Chef is from Bologna . Had the Risotto and the Spaghetti Filetti Spinaci. Excellent but portions are a bit small . Overall the place is a bit pricey , especially the wine .
I was able to taste considerable quality Italian food for dinner. It was really delicious pasta. The restaurant atmosphere is also nice and kind.
Very nice restaurant with good food and a super nice owner. He recommend me some nice red wine and a pasta. You can also get some really good coffee after dinner, which is nice for a European.
Out of the way gem! Parking lot is tiny and shared by three restaurants. The food is phenomenal, portions might be a little small but everything was fresh, delicious and handmade. I will be back.
Safety: staff wear masks, everyone is seated at a great distance from each other. Sitting is only outside on a nice patio with a roof. Food: AMAZING. It was so delicious!!! don't forget to leave some space for dessert. Tiramisu and panna cotta were just so good. Booze: haven't ordered any this time, but they have good choice in their list. Interior: it's cozy and an owner is very nice and welcoming
Have never had a bad meal here! EVER! Hidden gem of Italian cuisine!! We loved the sauce so much in the Tiger Shrimp appetizer, they made us 2 quarts to go! Now that's service at its best!
Came for dinner - their covered patio had plenty of charm and romance and was a very comfortable temperature on a late evening in October. We had the lasagna, tagliatelle Verdi al ragú, bruschetta and the panna cotta. The restaurant had a wonderfully welcome and inviting feeling that immediately makes everyone feel comfortable. The meal was tasty and the setting was unique. This is a special place for a meal.
Super cute interior and very yummy.
Food is good, but this place is overpriced and a bit weird. We were charged for tap water $5.50 and they mixed two types of wines to get 1 glass without checking with us first. I enjoyed my tortelloni, and it was exactly al dente. The pomodoro was also good. The environment is a bit confusing because they have a bike inside hanging on display and an assortment of thrifted bedside-like lamps on the tables and boxes cluttering the space inside. I personally wouldn't come back because of the price or environment, but that shouldn't detract from the pasta.
