I have been a lifelong Casa Rod fan.  The food and service are still great, but if they don't step up their chips and salsa game, they might lose my family.  The last three times we went there, they served us watery and very tomatoey salsa in Styrofoam cups.  I'm sorry, but in Texas chips and salsa are the face of the restaurant and this just simply won't do in a very competitive Mexican food arena.

Great Tex-Mex, breakfast or dinner fare.  Service was excellent, food arrived quickly, cheese was real and very melty, price was not much- we got 4 thick-stuffed tacos for 11 bucks- and one taco filled me up with chips and salsa.

This is a great place to bring family too, grab a beer and some enchiladas, but probably not a "first date" place.  It has a homey environment, but hasn't been updated in a while.  Also, drink specials are good too.

Food is great. Usually have lunches here, but their Big Red margarita is THE BOMB after hours!
