Casablanca has been open since 1980 and for 32 years we have taken pride in providing excellent customer service. Come into our store located in Hayward California and you will be greeted with open arms and minds. We are here to take the stress away from planning your special day. Nice helpful staff, I haven't brought anything in there but I has searched thru the store for prom dresses, event dresses and wedding dresses and gowns. Parking in the rear.

I went to this place a few weeks ago looking for a quinceañera dresss, I talked to Lucia I believe it’s her name, she was very nice she took the time to give me information about packages. So I went today to taste the food. Food and cake was really good.  I talked to the owner I believe about prices and services, they may have years and years of experience but this lady has no clue of how to talk to the client. I ask about a little center piece and she told me that would look ridiculous in a big hall. I did not ask for her opinion! Then she told me “for that you can buy it at the dollar store and make them yourself” (thank you for the tip but that’s no way to run a business FYI) 
Before she gave me an estimate of the food, she asked me which hall, I didn’t have one at the moment, she told me she needed a kitchen, excuse me! You are suppose to have that and not take advantage of the rental of the hall!! We have to pay extra if we want to make use of the kitchen to cook!! When I asked her to recomend me a hall she just talk trash about some of them, for me that’s so unprofessional and speaks worst of her as a person than the places she was talking trash of. Finally she gave me the price. When asked about the linen, she told me since I wasn’t getting all the services I could just go and pick up the table clothes myself, she stated she had to charge me like &400 to do that herself. Again thanks for trying to save me money but that’s your business. She talked to us like we were stupid and don’t know how to decorate a table, all the job it’s required for her to get the job done and that she was going to make an exception for us and work on the thanksgiving weekend even though she was going to be really tired after thanksgiving dinner with her family, of course at an additional charge, my husband and I were very irritated at this point, so he asked me to leave. Well then even that I loved their food and cake I went somewhere else, thanks to the stupid and out of place comments from this “lady”. I just sign contract with Oasis palace in Newark, excellent customer service, they didn’t comment about my taste on decoration, they said “we will decorate as you wish” with a big smile. Btw hall, set up, decoration, Catering and cleaning is just a couple thousand dollars more than what Casablanca want it to charge just for the food. Oh and their food it’s really good too! 
Also the same dress that cost here over $1200+tax I found it in Oakland for $875 tax, alterations, ironing and crinoline (borrowed/rented) all included. 
Thank you for the bad experience, I would make sure to make comment of this horrible experience to family members and friends. Your business will continue but for sure we will not contribute to it.

I would never buy again in this store, I saw them in July in search of my wedding dress, I had a picture of how I wanted my dress, it was a with sleeves dress, and Martha told me that she would help me find it, she asked me 500 deposit dollars telling me that my dress would cost approximately 1400, two days later I received a call from Martha telling me that they did not have the same dress as I wanted but that I could put on a jacket so that the dress would be the same as the one I wanted but that the The price of the dress was 1888, plus 350 of the jacket and apart I would have to pay for the dress to arrive on September 22, if I did not pay for my dress it would arrive until December 1st. I went to the store and talked to her and told her it was too expensive that I could not pay for that and she gave me a "special price" she told me to pay 2238 for the dress, the jacket and the shipping, and she included the alterations that I had to make the dress, she assured me that the dress would be the same as I wanted. It arrived on September 22 and nobody from that store spoke to me to inform me about my dress, on October 2 I began to call them and the phone was always answered by someone different, and they just told me they were going to check my order, I went to the I asked for my dress on October 14 and they told me that during the week they would talk to me during the week and nobody talked to me, I went back to the store on October 22 and they told me that the dress was not coming yet, I went of the store sad and angry because as it is possible that they play like this with my time and my money, that day Mr. Tony told me that he was going to take charge of finding out what was happening with my dress, on Monday the 23rd they left me a mailbox of voz telling me that my dress was there and they had a whole week leaving me messages to go for him, this is totally false they never spoke to me, on Wednesday October 25 I went to try on the dress, but ooo surprise the jacket was not the one I ordened, on Thursday, October 26, regrese So to the store to talk to Martha and tell her that this was not the jacket and she told me that we had never been in charge of the jacket j35 when even in my ticket says it is the mj354 dress and the j35, she goes to look for the jacket that I had tried a day before and come back telling me that he does not find it that maybe I took it in the box of my shoes, it gave me a lot of angry because with his comment I was implying that I had stolen my jacket, but an employee I found her, then Martha told me that if she did not agree I could return the money from the jacket and I said yes, she returned 175 dollars. This lady has played with my dream, with my patience and with my illusions, if she knew that she could not or did not want to get the dress the same as I wanted, I do not understand what was the reason for wasting my time with all her lies, I I want my dress with sleeves and on the shoulder like the photo I wear and now because of Martha's lies I can not have it, in this store they played with my illusion, for them it's just a dress they sell but for me it will be the dress that I wanted to use in the most important day of my life
