I have been going to Cascade Acupuncture for the past two years for both acupuncture and allergy elimination treatment.  I have been treated for several conditions--stress, chronic neck and back pain--and find the treatments incredibly helpful and essential for my overall self-care.

What makes Cascade Acupuncture stand out for me is the allergy elimination treatment for my longstanding environmental and food allergies. I would break out into hives from physical contact with grasses, nightshades, and squash leaves. It was annoying to garden with long-sleeves, especially in hot weather, to avoid the huge welts I’d get from contact with these plants. I was initially skeptical that I could treat my allergies with this drug-free treatment, but was so pleased to see it has had a long-lasting effect. Soon after the initial 24 hour no-contact period (no eating of or physical contact with the allergen which was treated), I tested the treatment, rubbing my bare hands and arms against tomato and cucumber leaves and fruit in the fall garden. No more welts! Though I was treated two growing seasons ago, the treatment still holds.

I also tested as allergic to several foods (legumes) and red wine and received treatment for these allergies as well. I no longer experience uncomfortable bloating from eating legumes and can now sip red wine without the painful tingling sensation I would get before the treatment.

Back in the Saddle thanks to Carola :)

I have arthritis and degenerative disk disease in my pelvis and low back and have flare ups that just about disable me from time to time, especially in the winter. This winter I had a terrible flare up and could barely walk, let alone ride my horse. But thanks to the acupuncture treatments that I received from Cascade Acupuncture and their Chinese Herbs, that are blended just for my condition, I'm pretty much pain free.
The herbs took a few days to "kick" in but when they did it was like having a fever break. The spasms stopped, the inflammation settled down and then the pain eased up. Now with my regular acupuncture treatments and daily herbs  I am "back in the saddle" and riding my horse 6 days a week again!!

I was already an allergy elimination client at Cascade Acupuncture when I got into a car accident. After the accident I immediately contacted Cascade Acupuncture to relieve pain in my injured foot as well as whiplash in my neck and shoulder. Everyone on staff was so thoughtful, helpful and excellent in their service. Each practitioner providing their own expertise to correct my injuries.
 I always feel that the staff their treats everyone with such care!

Following intestinal surgery I developed drop foot. My primary wanted to set me up with an expensive nerve study to detect where the problem stemmed from. With no insurance, this study was out of the question. I have always had faith in Carola and her staff for results with acupuncture. I have been having sessions for a month and am happy to say I can lift and wiggle my toes and raise my foot. Thank you Cascade Acupuncture. I bow to you!
