Contrary to one of the reviewers,this truck stop does NOT charge for parking. Truckers are not bothered there. Nice,clean place. Good food and friendly service. Restaurant is busy on weekend mornings. Clean showers with hot water,washing machine & dryer. C-store is a bit pricey but not any more pricier than big truckstops. Close to downtown. Poker machines. When you get off I-55,you do have to go down. Hwy 16 about 3 or 4 miles...it will be on your right.

How can anybody give this place a rating higher than 1⭐?  Last night 2/21/21018 around 7pm, the girl behind the counter was more interested in talking to a member of the opposite sex who was there when I walked in. Still there 10 minutes later when I was standing there waiting to pay for my items. If she wants to get laid, she needs to work on THAT  on her own time.
This morning at 650 am I went in to the restaurant for breakfast. TWO waitresses saw me walk in and sit at a booth.
Apparently to get waited on I should've sat at the already FULL counter!
TEN MINUTES LATER, still no service.
I LEFT!! Without even getting my morning coffee.
