It was a calm atmosphere. The staff was super nice and friendly. I was there in the early evening and the attendant Bobbie was helpful enough to stay at my machine while I went to the restroom. She never complained when I asked her and once I got back, I was able to resume my game and actually won about $80. I only wish I was able to thank her. Next time I'm in town, I will definitely stop in for some fun. Thanks Bobbie, for being my good luck charm and being soo helpful.

Bad experience, as a team member for 5mo. That's the worse place I ever worked. The employee handbook is a bunch of lies. The management team should all be terminated as well as some of the office staff. And here's why, the hand book states after 90days you can transfer to a different department. July 27 to October 27:2017 I was 90days inn, no written warnings, no absence, no points. put in for transfer, not one but two and was denied both without reason. On the job training for both positions. Couldn't go over my manager head because her boss claimed she approved the second transfer sight unseen... So I saw no further reason to stay with a company I can't grow with as well as develope different job experiences...

First off our third floor cocktail waiter Wesley was the most amazing amazing cocktail waiter we've ever had, and we've gambled at hundreds of casinos in multiple countries. We like this casino better than L'Auberge or however it is spelled, the only other nice casino in the area that I know of. We win more, we get more drinks and the rewards are similar (okay the buffet is better at the other place, but it's not so amazing that we'd go there instead). This place gets a bad rap, talking to other people, it's actually pretty nice. The drinks are strong, the staff is excellent, and the machines pay out. Don't dis it until you try it!

We stopped here because we saw online that campers/Rvs were allowed to stay in the parking lot. I can't say much about the casino, because I'm not a gambler, but to me the casino was pretty boring. I have been to Vegas a lot so not much can compare to that. The casino is on an old steam boat which appears to be sitting on the bottom of the river, not floating in the water cause it doesn't sway or rock. It doesn't feel like you are on a boat, you can't go out on the balcony's and there are no windows to see out of. As far as the safety of the environment goes, this is why I gave it 5 stars, I felt the place was very safe. Security drives around the parking lot all day and night. We had asked security about where we could park in the parking lot, and it felt like since they knew we were camping they kept a close eye on us (I hope in a good way, meaning: not thinking we were going to cause trouble, but it didn't feel like that was the case). There are also a lot of security cameras in and around the parking lot. Something that should be noted if you decide to camp in the parking lot is if the Mississippi River is under flood warning this parking lot does flood! When we were there probably about 1/3 of the lot was closed off because of water that had flooded it. Nothing like watching waves crash in a parking lot. But it was still a big parking lot even without that 1/3.

The food is really good. There is a variety of food to choose from. The setting is nice with a great view of the Mississippi River. Prices are reasonable.
