what an incredibly cute and inviting little neighborhood cafe. I absolutely loved the spinach pie and the seasonal iced tea, the Lavender Haze, was to die for. I can’t wait to go back and grab another before the end of summer! the service was amazing, too. such friendly and kind staff!Food: 5/5
tender and rich gluten free apple cheddar scone! velvety oat latte! strong cold brew with not too sweet orange agave syrup! lovely cozy but bright indoor seats, sidewalk tables, and a covered patio to boot. a gem!
Casita is simply the best coffee shop in the neighborhood. I sometimes see musicians out front curating a peaceful, laidback atmosphere, which as a neighbor on the block, I so much appreciate. Their coffee is great and service is even better. Kind, patient baristas do make a world of difference to start the day. Jenn and John have created a respite from the chaos that sometimes is NYC.
My favorite coffee shop in all of Park Slope. Jen, John and the whole barista team are always welcoming and warm. Really feels like community in here. The only reason I stopped going everyday is because I was spending *too* much of my budget on lavender lattes. Couldn’t recommend more!!Food: 5/5
I feel so lucky to have Casita just steps away from my door! By far one of the best little cafes in South Slope. The staff are always so attentive and don’t mind a picky order . I LOVE all the family-sourced treats like greek pastries and locally-sourced ones like banana pudding that 100% rivals Magnolia’s! And, duh, coffee is always on point. Wi-fi is also fast, even outside, so it’s a great place to work for a bit although it does fill up fast!. Do yourself a favor and go here instead of the chain cafes!
If I could give this wonderful little place more than five stars, I would. It is charming, has a wonderful backstory, and the barista John was so knowledgeable and personable. Amazing coffee, home inspired breakfast treats. And, I just found out that they have wine, beer, and mimosas. This is my new neighborhood fav! Look at the sweet little saying on their wall AND their cups. Also, they have a raffle going on this week to mark their 2 year anniversary on Friday, 1/20/23.
I love coming back to casita every time is a great experience! Amazing drinks, food, delicious banana budding and of course very welcoming staff! It does feel like home!Food: 5/5
Casita has been my go-to coffee spot in Park Slope for the last two years. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re missing out! The owners John & Jenn as well as the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. If you visit frequently, I guarantee they will remember your name and exactly who you are. My personal faves their coffee is truly spectacular: •Hot Drink: The Aviator •Cold Drink: Hibiscus Iced Tea Casita offers those homey coffee shop vibes that we all love!
I had the pleasure of visiting Casita Coffee on 12/1/23 at 3 PM, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of incredible. The barista who prepared my coffee was not only skilled but also showed genuine passion and enthusiasm for their craft. ad marshmallow to my hot chocolate! The coffee was expertly made, with the perfect balance of flavors. Each sip was a delightful experience, showcasing the high-quality beans and the barista's expertise. The atmosphere in the café was inviting and cozy, making it the perfect spot for coffee lovers. What stood out the most was the exceptional service. The barista's attention to detail and friendly demeanor made my visit memorable. It's rare to find such dedication and skill combined with excellent customer service. I highly recommend Casita Coffee to anyone looking for a top-notch coffee experience. A big thank you to the team, especially the barista on duty that day, for making my visit so special. Five stars well-deserved!
Awesome coffee & latte and out-of-this-world homemade spinach pies plus the baked goods come from the French bakery near by. The owner is super friendly and I’m so glad I pushed the front door. The former café regular had a special place in my heart but Casita of Brooklyn certainly holds the standard.Food: 5/5
