Story

Deer and antelope still play near this KOA at the crossroads to many destinations. The High Plains appear unchanged from the days when pioneer wagons and Pony Express came through. Imagine you're a traveler during the mid-1800s at the nearby National Historic Trails Interpretive Center or Fort Caspar Museum. Stay a few days and test your fly fishing or kayaking skills on the North Platte River, see a college league baseball game, play a round of golf or relax in KOA's big, sparkling covered pool and hot tub (seasonal). Mini golf, a playground and a pet walk are on-site. Long-term guests are welcome year-round.

While staying at the KOA Campground this was recommended to us. We were very pleased with everything about "THE HANGER" a real airplane hanger built before World War II with very interesting and authentic antiques from that era. The food & service exceed our expectations. We made sure to stop at the KOA on our return from Big Timber MT just to eat here again. Our servers were Penny and Brenda and they made our trip a lot more fun. If we're ever in this area again we will definitely stop here.

Small RV park off of I-25, on the north side of Casper. A lot of road construction on I-25 when we were there, but no problem getting to the KOA. Mostly angled pull-through gravel sites with some shade trees. Our site was dead-on level. Tight spacing, so you cannot spread out to the sides. Weak WIFI, no cable. Clean restrooms, showers, and laundry. Pool, mini golf to keep the kids happy. Friendly management. Not particularly scenic, but would return.

This is a very clean campground. Located off the interstate. So it's noisy from traffic, but easy to get to. Friendly people. Not much shade though and located in, what I'd call, an industrial area. So, looking for a clean overnighter? This is a good place. Definitely not a destination type campground.

Nice campground. Not very shady but we lucked up and our site hada tree. Wonderful to sit outside and take in the view in front of us. We would definitely stay again. We have an RV and don't use the facilities. Nice picnic tables and very clean campground.

Host is very friendly and helpful. Indoor pool was a welcome relief as it was very windy during our stay. Bathrooms nice and well-kept. Playground is newer and felt safe. All gravel sites, no fire rings, few trees. Surprisingly quiet since it is located close to freeway. Wifi is weak/spotty, but Verizon 4G was acceptable. 2 decent bar & grill restaurants right next door.
