Always come here because its open 24hrs, but that's about to stop. Ordered the Carne Asada Super Nachos with rice and beans and they forgot the Carne Asada. So I had to waste gas to come back and get my order right. They fixed my order, but I checked this time and I see that they forgot the pico de gallo when I specifically asked for it. The lady at the window wanted to charge me for it. I was already upset with having to come back because my order was wrong. I said how about you just let me have it for getting my order wrong and making me come back. She said no, I have to charge you $1.62. She could have made the situation better by letting me have the pico de gallo for the inconvenience. Instead I forked over $1.62 when I already spent $35 for some Nachos and a wet burrito. Im going to try to avoid Castaneda for now on. Im starting realize its not worth it. Besides they're not the only Mexican food restaurant open 24hrs. List of complaints *Food too expensive *Bad service *Quality of food going down hill.
I tried this place for the first time and it was an epic failure. I paid $56. Ordered three Carne Asada Combo Burritos, meat was not been Grilled. Completely flavor less. Very simple and plain. Ordered three Orders of Shreded beef tacos, again no flavor. Definitely first and Last time. It shouldn't even be called a Mexican Restaurant. What a deception.
The place is open 24 hrs which is convenient, the food isn't that great. I order a California burrito, and received meat and fries with cheese. There was no other ingredients it was a dry no flavor burrito. It was a sad moment for me lol I ended up giving the burrito to my dog.
My favorite Mexican food here in Moreno Valley. Best carne asada nachos omg to die for. Tostada's too. Hell everything. I eat here a few times a week right now they are my weakness. Staff is so friendly.

So I ordered a cabeza burrito, and it cost $8. It didn't seem a lot of money, so I got it. Well I got the food, and I was really disappointed. The taste was good, but not the size. It really was on the small side. The employee that took my order was nice and respectful. I didn't really wait that long for my food. The outside location of this place needs to be clean. There was a few trash on the floor and on the plants. Overall, this visit was ok.
The food made me a bit sick, had a good flavor when I first took a bite and then for some reason it had like an aftertaste that was displeasing.Food: 1/5
My favorite Mexican food restaurant that is ALWAYS open! I have yet to have a bad experience after 3 years of coming here :D
Omg the food was so good and the salsa let me tell you I have always liked red salsa better but the green salsa they have is so delicious and not to spicy just perfect. Yummy. The horchata is so sweet. I had some fries with asada and shrimp it was so bomb. My sister had the Asada Torta and it was delicious. The service is really good this is definitely a must have.
Went to Castañeda's tonight for dinner. I had the 3 taquito plate, it included a beef burrito with rice and beans. It use to be the old burger town. Husband had his usual two enchiladas plate.
