Inspired by the growing craft food & drink movement, we opened Catcher & the Rye to offer locally gathered, fresh ingredients paired with refreshing cocktails. We want to share our passion for quality with Palm Harbor & our neighboring communities to give them a place where everyone can hang out, feel good & eat even better, all while having the ultimate experience.

We partner with local vendors so we can consistently serve the highest quality food, unique wine & beer plus outstanding spirits. We're all about growing with our community to expand our palates, explore whiskey from around the world & spend time with friends.

The atmosphere was really laid back I enjoyed the wood on the outside deck. I had the beer cheese soup burger very tasty. I had a few special requests and they fulfilled them no problem I would go there again. Nice lounge area out front

Sorry to say that we have given Catch in the Rye a number of chances and it continues to disappoint each time. Today we spent 31/2 hours there with friends for lunch and again it was a disappointment. The food is fine, its the staff that needs some adjusting! Today they had some great drink specials that we were not told about I actually saw it on FB as I was going to write this review, I happen to like Bloody Mary's and would have ordered that. Our biggest disappointment was the following: The weather forecast was a Tornado Watch and heavy rain. They have a beautiful outside area that has sides that roll down to protect the diners. You would think that they would be monitoring that with the sky being dark and the weather report. Yet we sat there with other people getting wet and blown around, we asked the our waitress as soon as we felt the sprinkles blowing in and she yes they are going to do that, yet we waited and waited until I finally got up and went to the hostess and told her they needed to shut them. they then sent out 2 young boys to shut the flaps and they started shutting the side where the wind was NOT coming from... I'm sorry but this is not the way to keep your customers happy where is the management... I'll tell you this is the second time that this has happened with the rain blowing in, but this place is poorly run in the customer service area! Very disappointing to say the least. There are many awesome places in Palm Harbor to spend our money at.. Sorry to say the food is ok but not sure we'll be back

Unpretentious, enjoyable bar and grill with some menu items to enjoy with your drinks. It is nothing fancy or healthy. I prefer it that way. My unofficial someday husband and I love their whisky options. I think his name was Scott who served us last. He is a knowledgable waiter with experience and a friendly, relaxed personality. Perfect, helpful servers have individuality to make dining a new experience each time. The food could use some improvement with quality and flavor. Everything usually comes out dripping in grease which can kill the taste and texture of food. Please keep in mind that people who love the quality whiskies you offer are also expecting similar quality in the food options.

We have wanted to come here and finally made it. What a great place to eat at. Food was awesome...2 for 1 beer...wine and liquor. We had 6 people and our bill was under 100.00. The young lady who was singing was fantastic. Can't wait go go back!

Food was below average and inconsistent. Dining areas and bathrooms were nice and clean but service was slow on a slow night. My pork sandwich was so salty I couldn't eat it. Wing were under seasoned and they would not split an order of 10 in different sauces. Kid ate free on Tuesday. 2 stars for that.
