Catfish is a taste of Cajun street in the heart of Brooklyn. They serve up excellent drinks, brunch, and dinner. The cheesy garlic grits are the best I've ever had and their bloody mary's were also top of the line. The restaurant is lined with various hot sauce bottles for diners to add to their already delicious dishes. Waiters were extremely helpful and casual, in a good way. Great place to get a meal with a friend, significant other or a small group.

While seating is a little odd depending on number in your party, food was amazing. Dad had the oysters for an appetizer and was in heaven, Mom had the mushrooms and was equally satisfied. For dinner, I had the jambalaya and it was amazing. Dad had the catfish po’boy (I swear he didn’t come up for air) while mom had the chicken sandwich. We also ordered the mac and cheese, candied yams and biscuits as sides. All were good, but the jam and cinnamon butter the biscuits come with are out of this world good. I don’t even like cinnamon and I swear they need to bottle that butter and sell it. All in all a great dining experience, I was already thinking about what I would order next time while still sitting there. Will definitely be back soon.

The server was adorable and extremely attentive. Great craft cocktails and the atmosphere was very New Orleans. Trust I know because I live there. The food very flavorful. Omelet portion was about half of the average size. However, loaded with crawfish and flavor.

LOVE THIS PLACE! The staff is really friendly. It usually has a good crowd in there, either on evenings or during brunch on the weekends. 

I grew up going to New Orleans every summer, so I love the cajun food vibe there. They have zaps that are delicious that come with the Catfish Po Boy (which is also delicious but rough to eat). 

This place has almost no vegetarian options though and the drinks are usually at least $10 if not more. But the food is delicious and the drinks are good too, so I say it's worth it every once and a while.

Great food. Tasty Cajun style bbq, amongst other things. Will be back if I ever have the chance to be in the neighbourhood again. It's busy, and there are a lot of people stacked into a small area, so privacy isn't really a reality in this place. Still, the taste of the food is worth it. Some food is spicy, which isn't surprising.
