First of all, they seated my friend when I was still on the bus on my way there--automatic 5 stars. She ordered my bloody Mary and it was there waiting for me when I arrived. The food was all really perfectly prepared, too, with nicely runny poached eggs and scrumptious sausage. I will say my eggs Benedict was a little on the lukewarm/cool side--I'm guessing they have poached eggs at the ready held warm, but the salmon being in the fridge until plating dropped the overall temp down a bit. Food came out quickly, though, and everything was tasty. The speed of the service did make us feel a touch rushed (and there was indeed a wait) but still: I'd come back here, for sure.

I have been to this place at least 40 times. It is completely consistent. The food is always amazing. Happy hour specials are fantastic. $10 Burgers. $5 cod fish fritters. $3 off wine. Cheap drafts and Cocktails. I can't say enough good things about this place. And just to know the picture was taken after I drank half of the wine. It's a big pour! My kind of place.

One of my favorite brunch spots in Prospect Heights. Their brussel sprout hash and biscuits & gravy is really good as is their shrimp and grits (amazing). I love their apricot sausage appetizer as well. Pretty small inside, but nice mainly wooden, well lit interior. The service was fairly fast as well. I've never had to wait long when coming here, even during peak brunch hour.

I liked the choice of bar stools instead of regular chairs on one side of the restaurant. Food tasted good. I had the shrimp and grits. Quite flavorful. Service was a bit lax. The waitress was really busy and it was hard to get her attention.

The food was good, particularly the Brussel sprout hash. However, the eggs were over cooked in my wife’s eggs Benedict. Bloody Mary was good, but had a unique taste. I recommend the bourbon espresso cocktail.
