Absolutely great experience! After calling about a dozen places to accommodate our group of 30 people to watch the USA women’s soccer game, these guys were happy to have us! John the owner was BEYOND accommodating! He brought out 2 huge refillable soda containers for all of the kids, they loved that! Offered to make us an appetizer sampler to hold us over until our meals came and it was awesome! Homemade mozzarella sticks are phenomenal!! The food was great and definitely got our money’s worth! I would give it 10/10!!
My husband and I just visited this restaurant and I have to say that everything was absolutely delicious!! First, we had the corned beef egg rolls for an appetizer. The outside had a great crisp and everything was seasoned perfectly including the mashed potatoes the egg rolls sat on. My husband had the steak dinner with colcannon potatoes and I had the meatloaf dinner. Everything was delicious and on top of that every employee was so friendly! We will definitely be back!
Posting this again as for some reason my original review was taken down... Was here in August of 2018 and had the worst "nachos" of my life. It was later in the evening and unfortunately this was the only place that was open. The "nachos" were soggy house-made potato chips with a gritty cheese sauce. I do give them credit for making their own chips and what I assume was a house-made cheese sauce, it was just horribly executed. Tasted like someone tried to make a bechamel, added triple the amount of flour needed and forgot to add any cheese to it. Or they use pre-shredded cheese which is covered in corn starch and ends up giving you gritty/sandy cheese sauce sadness. I figured maybe they had a reopening or something given the lack of reviews on here, possibly changed their menu. Judging by the recent picture of the nachos below, they have not. Stick to the easy to make bar food if you absolutely have to go here. Edit: I'm just trying to inform hungry potential customers. Judging by the owner's response, they seem to care more about making low-brow insults than improving their food quality.
Nice place! We grabbed a pretzel and mozzerella sticks. Our waitress was super friendly.
Not super busy on a Friday night. The mozz sticks are huge but just okay. Better than frozen. I wanted the pot pie but they were out so I ordered the fish and chips. It's a shame, but the fish was really bitter like the fryer oil was old or something. If it wasn't bitter it would have been delicious. I asked if I could get something else and they were fine with that. I got the shepherds pie and it was delicious. They use short rib instead of ground beef and it's so good. Also the bartender poured our first drinks HARD and it was MUCH appreciated.
My sister and I were at the bar yesterday. We shared a meal of garden salad and a cheeseburger which was perfect. We also had a couple of excellent beers. People were very nice. Food and service was excellent and the music they had playing was great! We will definitely return with bigger appetites! Thanks!
This place is really nice, me and my friends used to spend time there almost every night, it’s cozy and drinks prices are reasonable. They have many places to sit; indoor, outdoor or on the bar. You can also play pool with your friends if you want. Bathrooms are clean and stuff are friendly. Food is not the best you can have but it’s ok. Highly recommended!
THEY HAVE THE BEST BURGERS I EVER TASTED IN MY 28 YEARS OF LIVING. YOU GUYS ARE THE REASON I KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MEDIUM WELL LOL. I TRAVEL ALL THE WAY FROM PENNSYLVANIA FOR THIS.
Delicious food! Make sure to order the pretzel appetizer for a huge surprise!
My Mom and I were recently in Wildwood for a few days and had the pleasure of dining at Cattle n' Clover. We were looking for a nice restaurant to get a good meal and wanted to try something new. It had some really good reviews so we decided to try it. We were met immediately with a very friendly and accommodating staff. Our server, Tudor, was extremely attentive and knowledgeable regarding the menu. He was able to suggest some great menu choices. Our meal, in particular, the filet mignon was really great and cooked at the exact temperature that I asked for. I was compelled to speak to one of the owners to give him a compliment regarding our server's attentiveness and kindness. He was also extremely nice. We will definitely be returning when we are looking for a great steak and a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend them when you are in the area! Very respectfully, Jim-
