Highly recommend it, This is my FAVORITE restaurant off the shore, I have been coming to this place for 3 consecutive years for dinner and lunch while I’m at the shore. food and staff never disappoint! Prices are affordable.
Fabulous experience for dinner! Our waiter was wonderful and accommodating. Some of the best seafood I have had in a very long time. The placemats are beautiful and they gave me a fresh one to take home as a souvenir.
We were wandering around the Wildwood Boardwalk yesterday, it was my first time there and as an AC local it's nice to get out and see other boardwalks once in a while. We were definitely craving seafood and local seafood more than anything. We happened to stop into Schellenger's. We had never been there before. As soon as I walked in I knew it was the perfect place. Extremely kitschy and full of mariner themed tchotchke! It smelled fantastic and was decorated nautically all throughout. Definitely a family friendly place as there were large families with kids there. My husband and I agreed it was a perfect family seafood restaurant. The staff was friendly and welcoming and our server Wendy was wonderful from start to finish. The food tasted as great as it smelled and presented. The Fried Flounder did not disappoint and the portions are huge. Thank you, Wendy for the extra bread and butter she wrapped up to go! Would definitely go back next time we are in Wildwood!
Came for dinner. They are seriously swamped with patronage and don’t have enough staff. Our server was very nice. The food was good. About what you would expect for a seafood place. Good variety I think. And prices seemed reasonable. Pretty typical good experience, expect to spend a great deal of time here though due to lack of staff and over seating by management.
We've been coming to this establishment for 15 years. Never have we walked out feeling a need to write a review. The place was consistently good for meals and okay for service. However, this time our service was outstanding. Our server's attention to detail for a party of 10 was excellent! Gloria Luz was top notch and didn't miss a thing. In today's day, that is a huge feat. Last night our experience at Schellenger's leveled up. Our drinks, meals, and service all came together in the great family ambiance that is Schellenger's Restaurant. It truly is the people that make the place.
Swordfish,spinach, chicken fettuccine, shrimp fettuccine., eggplant Parmigiano. Everything was delicious. Portions were large too.
The food was really good, and the service was top notch. We had a wonderful visit, and dinner.
We had a large family party of 14 celebrating Father's day weekend on a Saturday night! We tried calling to make a reservation, but no one answered. So we walked-in and it was about a 20 minute wait for seating us. Service was excellent and the food was fresh and tasted good! We all enjoyed our meals and even the kids liked theirs too! Definitely a great place to eat at!
The seafood was fresh and cooked well! The grilled octopus was delicious and the swordfish was amazing I’ll definitely be back!
Our waitress was Amazing! We received souvenir glasses and the drinks were worth the price. The Lobster brisk was amazing and the food was delicious. The outside is quirky and the inside has so much to see. Highly advise this place is a must!
