I was really excited to try this new Cava because it opened up right next to my neighborhood. I’d never tried it before and everyone talks about how delicious it is. Well, I was so disappointed in my order that we may not go back until they’ve been open for a little while longer. I didn’t get half the stuff I ordered in my bowl. No feta cheese, no tomatoes and cucumbers, and there were about 3 pieces of romaine lettuce. My fiancés spicy and sweet chicken pita was missing romaine, hardly had any tzatziki on it, it was drowned in the balsamic date vinaigrette to the point where it was soggy, and they were out of the salt brined pickles. We were really excited to try this place and it just ended in disappointment. The employees seemed to have enough time to hang in a group and talk together in the kitchen, maybe they can focus a little more on the orders in the future.
Don’t normally leave reviews, but they asked me to when I walked in the store to pick up an order, so here we are. Been there twice. First time they didn’t have any of it done on time, and then they told me they were out of what I ordered, but they could sub some ingredients, which was fine. I paid an up charge for what they ran out of, and I didn’t get any of it back, so basically I just overpaid. The second time I went, there was barely any avocado in the “avocado bowl”, and what was there was super brown. Otherwise the bowl was fine. Practically twice as much as Chipotle, but not as good and the ingredients don’t seem as fresh.
Love CAVA, was super excited for this location to open since it is very close and caters to the app which I also love. First order I placed I couldn’t get because the app showed incorrect hours and the order was placed after close. Manager was super understanding and accommodating, said come back whenever and they will make it right. Just got some dinner today and they made the meal I ordered plus chips and a drink, no questions asked, super friendly service. Great food, great service what more can you ask? Going to be a regular stop for me now
I must say I was impressed with Scott's customer service! I think he's a regional manager or someone of a higher position. I walked in not knowing this location was a self-serve kiosk location. The concept is contemporary, we just need to get accustomed to this concept as it will be the future form of service transactions. Thanks for your courtesy Scott. The food was delicious!
Such a strange concept. Only take in online orders. There’s a large screen inside however, you cannot place orders on this screen. I wonder how this work for people who do not have phones or aren’t tech savvy. Not everyone has a smart phone. I honestly don’t see this place around for long. There aren’t many business in the area to keep up with this “demand” maybe try it in the NODA area.
I placed an order on DoorDash and the restaurant forgot to pack my pita chips. I was so frustrated by this but the staff rectified the situation immediately. Sasha owned up to the store’s mistake and promised to make up for it the next time I visit the store. This is great customer service. Thank you, Sasha!
Not a real Cava. You have to order on the app and there is no way to order at store and no one to talk to about customization needed to make one change for an allergy not available in the app. There’s not even a drink machine!! Not to mention it took forever.
What a wonderful experience. Matt the manager was beyond exceptional. He took the time to help us with ordering. He was so personal and educational. Amazing experience.
Clean restaurant and friendly service. Part of my order was taken by someone and they remade it quickly and did everything they could to make it up to us. Will be coming back!
Probably shouldnt list your restaurant as Dine-in if you cant get food to dine-in. If I have to pay off site you're not Dine-in. So strange that a restaurant in a strip mall turns away foot traffic looking for food. Also they get my online orders wrong constantlyFood: 2/5
