My family of 5 have been twice in the past year and gearing up to go a 3rd time for a week. We actually camp, so no RV, and we are grateful for the power and water at the sites. I would give this campground a 5 star review if it weren't for the litter left at the sites, on the grounds, and on the lake shoreline. The restrooms should be cleaned daily, as people tend to tear them up, especially during the busy season and those who fish definitely leave their fishing lines and lures behind. We have even found crayfish traps left in the water after a week of no one coming to check them. Every time we come, we remove 3 to 4 large garbage bags of trash that we find around our campsite and the lake. We would visit other sites, but this one is very near our home and we have three small kids, so proximity is important in case of a problem. Even if you're RV camping, please, just take a few minutes at the end of your trip to walk around and grab any trash you see. The wildlife and other campers will thank you. Edit: Getting ready to head out for 10 days over Spring Break and I want to encourage anyone heading out there, especially groups that like to party and relax, to please clean up after yourselves when you visit the lake. We thank you in advance and hope that everyone has a fun and safe time.

Beautiful park for camping. The staff was nice and welcoming. The bathrooms were very clean. The barbecue/grilling area was beyond awesome. Positive experience here.

Spacious wooded sites. Hot water in showers. Secured with pass code for the gate. Made reservations on line a few months ago, and they did not need to see my paperwork or Ametica The Beautiful pass.

Great park! Goodwater trail is a well marked trail that goes atound the lake. It's approximately 2.5 miles from trail head to Crockett Gardens Falls. The trail is through a wooded area for a good amount of time. You will hike a bit before you'll see the lake. The trail eventually walks around the cliff edges and affords excellent viewing areas. From the 2 mile mark there is still a ways to go to Crockett Gardens. The terrain will take you over some rocky areas so watch your footing. But check over the fenced areas for some longhorns that graze the area. You'll continue on fording 2 water areas and crossing remnants of an old fence and some buildings. There you'll see the sign for Crockett Gardens. Your just around the corner. It's a very interesting natural area! The campgrounds are very nice. Each site had a covered picnic table area. Sites are spacious and you can be three wooded area for shade or overlooking the water. There is not access to the water from the csmpsites, it is a cliff. Some#thing to think about ig you have small children. You can see the water from the wooded sites, it's just across the camp roadway.

Have came to Cedar Breaks campground for several years and is always my favorite. Like the trees, which is to me like a bead curtain and feeling of privacy. Love seeing kids and family out here enjoying the outdoors.
