Pros: Very courteous and helpful staff. Never had an issue when it came to getting blood work, i.d. card etc... my doctor is pretty informative and listens. Cons: Scheduling appts., during certain times of the year may be difficult and calling in and being told a nurse will have to call you, but they will only call once then you'll have to wait about 4 days before you get a call from your doctor's office.

The Medical Doctors whom I have seem are as good at their counterparts who are not in the VA system, however, the Male who is drawing blood at this Cedar Park clinic treats Vets as if there lower grade military with little or no respect as it also seemed that way with some of the office staff, and try to get these guys to answer a phone call "good luck". I work in Healthcare and there is no way this would be tolerated anywhere not even the county hospitals I have worked in. I do have a choice as I have my own insurance but have earned the right with a service connected ratting. 9/20- I called to make an apt and it seemed to be a different ball game now, They were able to make an apt within 2 days and the folks on the phone were very good. I don't know about the guy drawing blood but things are looking up.

We all know that the VA has its share of problems, but this clinic us one of the better ones. I find it problematic that they don't cater to working people by allowing us to choose appointment times like civilan clinics. I think it workd great for retirees who need medications.

Too much Drama and not enough work being accomplished! This seems to be a theme at the VA in Central Texas as they have too many Chiefs and not enough workers which causes too much micro management worrying about “numbers” neglecting the Veterans needs and Services

Off all the VA clinics, this is the worst. The lady who draws blood is very courteous and friendly. The male phlebotomist if you are unlucky enough to get him is awful. He defiantly has an attitude problem. What a joke he is. Doctors are ok, you have to stay on top of your prescriptions because they won't for you. Wished it wasn't such a hassle to go to Austin for VA. I think the Cedar park clinic needs a visit by an undercover person from the VA.. The office is very unorganized. Seems like the office staff don't know what to do except constantly walk around in a daze. The nurse I have seems like she is having a bad day every time I see her. I go to the VA because of high blood pressure but My pressure is ok until I have to go visit this clinic then it goes sky high, wonder why?
