My whole experience was positive. The nurses and doctors were all very pleasant, knowledgeable, and willing to answer my questions. The whole procedure was explained to me clearly and I was asked if I understood everything. After the procedure, the doctor came in to explain what had been done and what I could expect in the next two days. I have no complaints.

I went in through the emergency room. It was completely full. It ended up I had a heart attack. But the nurses and doctors were amazing. I also have anxiety disorder and panic disorder and everyone was very helpful. Believe me I am a handful when all of those things kick in with me. They went above and beyond to help me.

I recently had a couple of surgeries at Centerpoint Medical Center and have continued to go to them for treatment. Centerpoint is an exceptional hospital and the staff have been truly amazing. Not only did they provide wonderful service while I was there, they continued to check up on me after the surgery. I received several surveys afterwards to gather information and insight into how I perceived my stay and the services as well.

At check-in (surgery center, outpatient) the receptionist said there was payment due before services, not an issue. My husband called me to the desk since I pay the bills. Once at the desk I asked her to explain the woman was very rude, I was told if I returned my calls all this would have been handled and she wouldn’t have to be explaining everything “again”. I stated to the woman there was no need to be snippy, my husband does not take care of the bills. The lady then said she was not snippy, I told her yeah, she had a bit of snippy she said she didn’t mean to be. (Lady had no name tag, but she was very heavy) It would have been the end of the story all was well, until the office manage felt the need to interject herself into what was going on. As the lady was setting up the payment plan and charging my benefit card I was explaining to my husband that the amount may not be anything close to what they were telling due to claims and the way they come in but others bills will total that amount. At that point what I presume to be the “office manager” interrupted me, and told me the girl did not have time for me I needed to move on. I explained to the woman I was not hindering anyone I was talking with my husband. The lady taking care of me (still typing) even explained this to the office manager. When I turned around there were two people in the waiting room, no one at the sit down desk and no other people. This was at 6:15 a.m. I asked my husband if I was being ?$itchy because I missed morning coffee but he felt we were being talked down to and scolded. He felt they did this because of our age. I felt they talked to us like that because they do not want to do any real work in the mornings. I am sending my details to CP, CEO. If you have had a bad experience with the front desk please write him. It is a shame that the employees with the least amount of technical skills can have such an impact.

I was hospitalized with pneumonia, sepsis and some other serious issues the last 9 days of January 2016. From the doctors to the respiratory therapist to the support staff, everyone was awesome. I have heard some negative feedback about the hospital and I honestly had some doubts in coming there, but I couldn't recommend them enough for others. They seem genuinely concerned about your health and proactive. They have even followed up with me after I left the hospital to see if I needed help getting meds or other treatment for my post-hospital stay. I highly recommend this hospital and its staff.
