It takes about 90 minutes to tour the zoo (just the animals), and it’s well worth it, with a great lay out means you won’t miss any part. 1030 is penguin feeding time, not sure how they work out who they have fed. Then 1130 is sea lion feeding. This is an amazing show and the high light of the zoo. Another amazing place is the hot house. Birds flying freely over head. Give yourself time in here as there is so much to see, many people rushed by missing amazing sites. This is a wonderful place.

Lovely zoo and a great addition to the magnificent central park. Only 4 star for me because I did expect it to be a little bigger given the location. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful zoo and well laid out. I like how the sea lion pool is right in the middle and then the rest around. Enjoyed the reptile house with free flying parrots. Being from England the bears was a highlight for me as you don't see them every day. Tip: if it snows when you're out there, go to the zoo! We had it completely to ourselves and didn't stop us seeing anything.

Hands down the best zoo managed by the Wildlife Conservation Society. Although it is the smallest one of the 5 WCS zoos, it definitely has the happiest animals and visitors I might add. Located conveniently in Central Park, easily accessible by train even on weekends (other zoos outside Manhattan require to change trains multiple times if there is maintenance work being done on weekends). Surely a bit on the pricey side with tickets costing 20+, the Sea lion show is much better than Queens or Bronx zoos. Great place to take the whole family

An awesome place to do a date or a family day. The admission is not expensive at all, but then the zoo isn't all that big. It will keep you busy or kill a few hours. The exhibits were all clean, the animal selection was also great for the size of the zoo. Over it's a good place to visit if you haven't done so already.

Such a cool little zoo. Its definitely bang for your buck here, the animals are all so happy and the staff maintains it well. There is a reason this park is on the list! The shear size and location of this park is incredible. Every direction you look you'll see the mix of tree's and a skyline towers. That enough is to blow your mind.
