Ah, the summer of 1949!  I worked at a Union News stand out on the concourse.  Countless displaced persons from Europe, as well as coffins of WW II servicemen, were constant arrivals.  One day, during a lull, I was playing catch with the keys to the stand.  One time I threw them up and they didn't come down.  They had landed way up on a girder.  I bet they're still there.

This is non operational station housing statue cruises booking office and some of the remains of railway station open for public. Nicely maintained with all day paid parking ($7 per day till 10pm)
