This is a wonderful park to just sit and be at peace with your seroundiings. These wild Canadian geese are all around with wild ducks too. They will come and eat right out of your hand as well as the ducks too. There is a little female duck that hangs with the geese that is so sweet and friendly. Great place for a family with kids, couples and individuals that are alone. Come check it out...

Great place to take the kids to burn energy. We only stayed at the play area so if you were reading to see how the zoo or other areas are, sorry. But whenever I visited, they had the larger playground area under construction (I believe they were replacing the sand with rubber or tar), but the small area worked just as fine. The geese were huddled in an area near the playground, but kept a safe distance, which I liked (geese can get pretty aggressive at times). The other parents were pleasant and friendly, so if you forget to bring a book or other entertainment devices then I bet you could carry on a good conversation before heading home.

Nice park along the Little Arkansas River. Large play area, splash park, and even small native animal zoo! Walking path surrounds the park with a small pond as well. Tables and gazebos for picnics and ample parking.

Fun park. Great for kids. There are fountains during the summer for kids to play in. The equipment is usually crowded with kids,which is a good sign of a fun park. There is equipment for little kids and bigger kids,So that the littler kids won't get trampled by the bigger kids. I grew up going to this park in the 80s and my kids also grew up loving this park in the 00s.

This is a great park for picnics or letting the kids play. There is a large playground and a walking path around the park. There is also an small animal exhibit that usually has birds and turtles. At one point there was even a small Bob cat.
