3.5 stars for this visit. The breading was slightly burned on one of the breasts. While the live music was nice, it was too loud even if sitting inside rather than on the patio. The service was great. The server brought waters around while  we decided on our beverage choice and then asked if we another round well before the drinks were empty so we wouldn't have been dry before the next round came. 
If you are looking for a family friendly restaurant with live music and a bar-like atmosphere that serves fried chicken, then give Champy's a try. Side note: the Cole slaw is some of the best I've had.

I ( Andy Townsend ) liked it very much so did my wife ( Mannie Townsend ). I was proud to find out our waitress is a Veteran, since I am a 21 year Veteran and served in the Iraqi War and also a Disabled War Veteran. I told her that I was proud of her for her service. The food was good and she gave us extremely good service. Her name was Ashley. Go by there and try their food and drinks. They are good.

The boiled crawfish was perfect! I also had the buffalo wings too. Could not have been better. I’m from Louisiana and I know good crawfish. Seasoned perfectly and popped right out the shell. Food came fast, waitress was awesome couldn’t be happier my whole family loved their meal and 4 of us ate for $65.00 can’t wait to go back!

The only reason for a four star and not a 5-star, is we had a little smart ass waitress last night. As always the food was great, the atmosphere is kicking, But the waitress ruined it for us. Next time we go back, and she is our waitress, we'll either move, request another, or leave. I won't describe her, or call her out, but to get an attitude with me, then lie to me! when we go there once or even sometimes twice a month and always get the exact same things. I am sorry, the girl needs more training. Other than that, this place is a kickin place to go..

I love it! I've been there many times and they never fail to impress me. Nice staff and great food. Only thing I can say that wasn't good was the water tasted a little bit funny. Other than that, best food in town! Can't beat it.
