About

CK/RFA is the only gallery in the country exclusively dedicated to presenting fine art which seeks to influence social and/or political change.

Story

Charles Krause Reporting Fine Art is a gallery based in Washington, DC supporting the art of social and political change. CHARLES KRAUSE/REPORTING FINE ART was founded to reflect the twin passions of Charles Krause, and his hope that the social and political impact of an artist’s work will be seen as another legitimate measure of its worth and value by the art historians, museum curators and collectors whose opinions, taste and decisions ultimately decide which artists emerge, and why they emerge, as the “greats” of their time.

Current Show:

ALTOGETHER NOW: The power and beauty of 'political art'

ALTOGETHER NOW: The power and beauty of ‘political art’ (July 19-August 31): This exhibit presents the work of four superb artists whose highly original and visually arresting art shows the wide range of styles and techniques they, and other artists, use to explore political ideas and to influence social and political change in the countries where they live.

I do NOT recommend working with this person. I had a Washington D.C. exhibition through this person in May 2017. I never received payment for any of my art sales and other agreed upon expenses. If it had allowed, I'd have given him 0 stars on this review...

Charles Crossing Point by not have some of the finest politically charged art I have seen it is both educational and entertaining and I look forward to seeing what comes out of that Gallery in the future

As far as I know, there is no other gallery of fine art in Washington, DC that is solely dedicated to political free speech, freedom of the press, and the exposure of corruption in government. The exhibitions are carefully curated and thoughtfully displayed in an intimate gallery downtown. The occasional live presentations have always been timely, sometimes provocative and sometimes saddening. But, they are always casual and welcoming events. I highly recommend the Charles Krause gallery to anyone who feels that they might benefit from this kind of education.
