Our family is proud to serve our neighbors in the Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland tri-city area in Washington.

Story

Charlie’s Automotive & Tri-City Radiators opened its doors in 1979, starting as a 2 car garage in Kennewick. The ghost town would soon transform into a booming tri-city area. Charlie’s Automotive moved to our current location, a much larger facility, to match the growing community we serve.

My family has dealt with Charlie's automotive for over 15 years and i can say they are honest repare service people. They only fix what needs to be fixed and at resonable prices for parts and labor.I personally would recommend have your vehcile work on by Charlie's automotive. They have been in the tri cites for over 25 years.

Two areas of quality I should address;

CRAFTSMANSHIP - My Subaru Legacy was ready for standard maintenance on a new timing belt and water pump.  Now that it's been 500 miles post-service, the car is running great.  It even idles better when I start the car cold.  The mechanic went so far as to leave my engine compartment cleaner than he found it.  
CUSTOMER SERVICE - I was quoted a price on the timing belt that was better than the dealership, yet retained a comparable workmanship guarantee.  The mechanic also confirmed what the dealership had told me about my power steering fluid needing to be flushed.  Again, beating the dealerships price they performed that maintenance as well.  

Dad drives American, I drive Japanese.  Looks like we'll both be headed back to Charlie's for the next round.

I took my truck here to fix my head gaskets. Not only were charges added on twice to the initial quote, amounting to an extra 600 dollars but the phone calls to tell me about the additional charges were very evasive. Instead of explaining what needed to be done and why I was treated to a curt voice telling me that they needed to tack on additional things and did I approve this or not. I later found out of course that I was over charged substantially, but the worst part of it was that after they made the repairs I had even more trouble which had to be corrected by a different mechanic. 

Would not recommend, would not use again.
