My wife and I just left our previous bank because we were unhappy with their customer service. I relayed that to the banker who was helping us to open our 6 new accounts. So far I am no happier with Chase. Two of the accounts were checking accounts. When opening those accounts we were not given any starter checks nor were we informed that we would be charged for the checks that were being ordered for the accounts. What we were asked was what number we wanted to start our checks. We called and spoke with someone at the branch they told me they weren't sure what could be done. I asked her to speak with her manager. She contacted me back to tell me that her manager said they could do nothing for us. I informed her that I would be returning those checks to them. I opened 6 new accounts...and the branch could not even cover one of the two $20 check fees. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I've been banking with Chase for many years. That's going to change as while I wanted to get a refinancing on my home loan. I jumped through all the hoops. Including the last two that I was approved granted I provide the information, then via email I was asked if I could provide one more piece of information. Which my mother was not legally obligated to provide. After I responded to the loan agent I could not provide that information. I have not received a reply email. No phone calls! Nothing! The money I invested to get this loan refinanced is apparently gone since Chase seems to of forgotten who I am. I am a long term customer who had multiple credit cards through them. I have to say everything bad I have heard about Chase. I believe it! And if that is not enough. My former stepchild had a account here and we had to speak with this bank many times because they kept charging her account when at the age of 12, she should not be getting charged. Get a credit union account or hide your money under your bed. These occupy Wall Street people seem to have a point here. We're getting ripped off blind here! With no consideration at all!
