They've always been extremely friendly and when my debit card was stolen they were super helpful and got all of the charges reversed

I went in to a branch to open an account with about 40 minutes until close. I was told by the manager/vp that it take 45 minutes to open the account and I needed an appointment and was turned away. There was no else in the branch! I couldn't tell what she was so busy doing that she couldn't open a simple checking account. She was very rude and when I pressed to find out why it took so long she would not offer any reasons, just that it takes that long. I know that retail locations like to try to cross sell you and ask a bunch of questions even if you tell them you don't want other products which is what takes so long. For being a VP she definitely lacks in professionalism. Chase has a reputation for treating people this way in this area but I thought I would give them a try. Bad idea. Big national banks don't care about the customers and it translates to how the ground level employees treat them. Stay away from this bank.

It's not the bank nor this branch, but one specific employee. I called about a minor issue I thought would be simple to solve. I gave my basic info and briefly explained the situation. The rep, instead of taking time to apologize and explain it wouldn't be possible for her to help me and that I need to call their customer service line, just told me to start writing and dictated the number with no attempt whatsoever to be polite. I like the bank, unfortunately this experience will keep me from going to this branch or recommending it.

Chase bank is very un-customer friendly. Anything you want to do there , the answer is always pretty much no, unless you jump through a zillion hoops first. And even then they might still say no. They are the worst bank I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. The majority of the tellers have been nice. It's not their fault. They don't make the rules.but I'm sure they get to feel the anger from frustrated patrons way to often
