The mission of the Chattanooga Zoo is to engage and inspire our community to better understand and preserve wildlife by creating meaningful connections between people and animals. With our intimate, innovative exhibits, wide-ranging educational offerings and commitment to conservation, our vision is to be a top destination for residents and visitors alike and the pride of our community.

I love going here! It's a very small zoo, but that is why I like it so much. They have a good variety of animals who all seem very well taken care of. I always love seeing the snow leopards and red pandas. They're my personal favourites! This is a great place to go for a couple of hours.

This is a small zoo and perfect size for families with small children who only want to stay for a couple hours. There is an amazing playground out front and the parking is free. Unfortunately they so not have many of the common zoo animals (bears, lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, gorilla, etc.) The staff is not friendly and the few times I visited they were smoking, stored cigarettes in the train for kids to see, and cursed as they walked around the visitors.

Love the animals, great assortment of critters to look at. The keeper chats they have near exhibits are cool when they happen, but too often we've been left waiting and no one shows up. Also, the enclosure with the snakes and spiders STINKS. It's hard to breathe in there. Their Halloween festival Boo in the zoo is always fun. It's a nice place to spend an afternoon, but I hope to see improvements in the animal care.

It's a nice quaint zoo. It is really a pretty nice cheap way to spend a few hours (not a whole day). The entrance fee is nominal compared to most zoos and aquariums, and the attractions mostly fit. There are some very cool and fun exhibits including 2 snow leopards and some langurs that taunt them. It is limited in the variety of animals it has to offer, but what it has is good and it benefits from it's size because you get very close to most of the animals.

My family had a great time. It's kind of small but very well kept. Perfect for my 3 year old. Our visit lasted long enough he was satisfied but not so long he became bored and tired
