Wonderful experience with Chavis representative Matt Bruton.   Very professional, very thorough and very easy to work with.    Its nice to have someone you trust see you through the entire process.   Does the estimate and then takes full responsibility for both ends of the move.  You have one person to call who does what it takes to make things right, quickly.   Do yourself the favor of allowing him to at least bid your job.  You'll be glad you did.

The loading and download crews were very pleasant and did a nice job packing our things. We had a very narrow steep staircase to get to the basement and the crew never complained once. Only two small inexpensive items were damaged which was awesome considering how much antique glassware we were moving. We've moved several times and so far Chavis has been our best experience.

Don't let this company mislead you into thinking that they are Myrtle Beach Movers™ Company.  They have repeatedly been asked to stop using this name.  First used in 2001, I own the federal trademark and the SC service mark and the dot com of said moving company name.  From looking at their website you'd think they like my business name more than their own.  They even give me copyright credit for their website at the bottom of the home page which seems appropriate given how often they use my name.  They have been asked for the last 8 years to quit using my brand name.  Dealing with an honest moving company is important folks.

Chavez movers were very good and efficient.  HOWEVER, the "secure storage" left a lot to be desired.  We couldn't get into the stored items, but their warehouse personnel sure could.  We were missing a LOT of small items and were told they were not responsible because they had not packed our move.

Excellent short or long mover, staff is friendly and very professional. Communicated well, were on time , and hit the price estimated. 5*
