Founder Scott Jennings decided to showcase the harmony between great tasting food and ... well, a very specific counter-culture. The menu features over 30 signature sub sandwiches, as well as a variety of Rice Krispy treats, salads and munchies. Most locations also offer craft beer bars that feature local beers from neighborhood breweries. We strive to be your go to late night food stop. We had the best time at Cheba hut! This place has the best vibe, the best food, great music, awesome staff, and we loved our fun bartender Don! Hands down a great addition to Bellingham! 10/10 recommend!
We previously ate at the Boulder location and were eagerly awaiting the Bellingham opening. Yay! The sandwiches are still great, with friendly efficient service. I wish they offered a fake meat option but the Power Plant is excellent and filling.
Got to check out the long awaited Cheba Hut today and it was definitely worth the wait. Friendly crew behind the counter, nice design on the restaurant and quality munchies & sammies. The sandwiches my partner and I had were both superb Panama Red/La Canna and we loved how they were blunt wrapped. Will absolutely return to checkout the bar next time too!

The Chicken Bacon Ranch White Widow was amazing! Yesterday I had the Italian La Canna which was also superb. The online order was seemless and right on time for pick-up. Lastly french onion soup how can u not and for beverages an assortment of Koolaid, tea ,soda fountain and full bar???? Whaaaat?? This was our first visit to Cheba Hut and it won't be our last! There are so many sandwiches to choose from and ours were delicious. We liked having a choice of bread...the one with herbs was very tasty. We were surprised to see there is a full bar at this restaurant, although because it was a work/school day we didn't order any alcohol. The bar menu included some local craft beers which is appealing to us. We'll be returning to Cheba Hut very soon and recommend others try it, too!
I stopped to grab a sandwich for work, and this place is great, the staff is upbeat and friendly. I got to work and the girls were envious of the smells coming from the bag. Did you know they cater?Food: 5/5
Subs are great but the snack size 1/2 oz bag of chips for $2 is outrageous. You also need to be pretty assertive to grab someone's attention if you're picking up or you'll stand there while everyone keeps their heads down working.
Amazing subs try the A Train and the AK 47!, a great bar and a super friendly staff :
I'm a huge sandwich lover and this place does not disappoint I've had 6 sandwiches all different and always get a side of their horseradish because it's house made and delish can't wait to have more!!
