Chicken Mississippi is my go to menu option...and their corn bread is the BEST around. It's a must try if you're in the area. Even if you want take out. Prices are reasonable and lunch portions are huge. I've been going here for 20+ years and have Never had a bad meal. They obviously must be doing something right.

Chef Wayne's impresses me every single time I visit. It's simple, their food is great. I've been a repeat customer for a few months now and I always try a new dish. Everything I order from this place is amazing. I can't believe a restaurant this good is located in Springfield. The restaurant is small so it can fill up at busy times. You can bring your own booze so is there really anything else to ask for? If you are looking for good food in Springfield,  look no further. The service is impeccable and the food is amazing. I can't get enough of this place.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in a while. Such a small place packed with big flavors. I'll let the food speak for itself👍🏽🔥. Service is outstanding and very home like feel. My first time eating here and I felt like I was family. Well worth the wait since it's always busy. Will definitely be back one day.

Amazing food, great staff, BYOB! This place is awesome but also on the smaller side. Be prepared to wait. If you're not in line before they open you're going to be waiting to get a table but it's definitely worth it!

I've been to this restaurant twice.  Most recently I went to grab lunch and walked away extremely impressed and satisfied. The decor is fun and New Orleans styled and the menu has something for everyone. For lunch I got the chicken po boy and was only able to finish half of it before I was full, and the sauce on it was phenomenal! They had fresh sweet tea as well.  The service was definitely slow considering there was only one waitress and nearly every table was full even though the restaurant is quite small!  I will definitely be returning!
