This is a good place to either get a quick bite to eat or sit down with the family and catch up/hang out. There is great service and they are friendly. The waiter doesn't let you glass get empty and yes they do serve alcohol. The grill is amazing for cooking up a hot meal on slow days when the food isn't being replaced as quickly. The sushi selection is small and they do serve steak. All around it is a good place to eat with friendly people.

The food was okay, not the best but still good. The service absolutely stunk. We got in there and were waiting a good nearly 5 minutes with no one else in line. We got seated, our table was sticky and very wobbly, the high chair was sticky too. We were only given one set of silverware instead of the three we needed, she took our napkin holder and never gave it back after it was refilled. Had to ask to have it back. She gave us drinks that we didn't order and realized it after a minute and she didn't give us any straws either until she was asked to. We did not leave her a tip. Worst service we had EVER gotten there. Please save your money! There is a smaller buffet in Owosso called the Jade Buffet, and what it lacks in size, it makes up for with great service, small wait time, and great food. It may be small, but at least they care.

I've been to Chen's twice now, and each time they have had a great selection of food. I can honestly say, most of it was great for buffet food. 5 stars for Chen's Mongolian Grill.😉😁

The lady at the front desk was very rude and didn't seem knowledgeable. The waiter also seemed confused. Being he has to clear the plates and refill drinks. He was worried about eating. Tough go. Food was ok at best. And not to mention.. The place is dirty!!! Will not return.. Sorry for the bother 👎

So RUDE!!!!! we arrived on a Sunday at 2:50 pm.  Lunch ends at 3 so we made sure to get there before hand.  There was a large party of about 10 people ahead of us so we had to wait behind them.  At 3:01 we pay are bill and she charged us for dinner even though it was their fault!  The girl barely spoke English so we asked for the manager. She acted like our request was outrageous and refused to help.  Meanwhile, the cashier did something to upset a table she recently seated and the man was very upset about something she did or said.  The atmosphere was HORRIBLE with everyone all angry and upset... The food is nothing special anyway, just your typical Chinese Buffet.  I will NEVER be back.
