I’ve owned four different homes and two rental properties so I certainly have had my experiences with heating and A/C service. I must say Chesapeake Plumbing & Heating is the best I’ve ever worked with. They’ve been fair, honest and trustworthy. I currently own a home that was built 89 with original equipment that kept breaking down on me. They were very transparent with the issues and showed me what the problems were each time. They gave me several options and repaired the units until I was ready to replace. Last week they replaced both units as well as some duct work. The crew was friendly, fast and clean. Better yet, I was very satisfied with the value since I shopped around. I will definitely use again for future plumbing and HVAC needs.

I would not recommend this Co. even to someone I dislike. A technician showed up at my home to service a water heater and after finding that I had an issue w/ the element he then began working on the problem. However not only did he not drain the tank he failed to turn off the water which caused a flood in my home. I called the Co. and since it was after hrs. I got the emergency service operator who informed me that she spoke w/ and emailed the owner my information and that he would contact me. No one ever called me ! The technician did however receive a call but not I. He attempted to clean up my rug but when he left it was still saturated! I had to run to Lowe's and purchase a shop vac to clean up the mess. I called the Co. this morning and spoke w/ a woman who asked me how they could make it right. Again I had to call nobody cared to call me. Very classless and caring about customers especially when they created the problem seems not to matter to them. In any event I stated that they could make it right by at least paying f/ the shop vac I had to purchase which was $89.99 . To my surprise I was told their Co. policy doesn't allow them to do that. They did offer to come clean up the mess but I'm like it happened almost 24 hrs ago. Were they going to wait f/ my floor boards to rot. I mean really folks think about that f/ a minute. The technician left my home in that condition forced my hand to take action and then They act like they care! 
What's troubling about this issue is what kind of technician doesn't know the basics of servicing a water heater. Does the Co. verify their qualifications or do they just dispatch them to you home under the assumption that they know how to do the job. There are far to many options in finding a good Co. to come work on my home to have to tolerate horrible service like this . I have owned my own business and now manage someone else's . The one thing I have leaned is that the customer is always right and regardless of policies and circumstances that doesn't change. If a Co. can't earn your respect then you shouldn't give them your business.

The technician arrived according to schedule, was very professional and completed everything quickly.  Also, the price was very reasonable.  I'll definitely use Chesapeake Plumbing for future plumbing needs and I highly recommend their service.
