When I booked the service, they did not tell me that they would arrive during a range of time. When they called to try to move my time (which I couldn't do), they did not tell me there was a range of time in which they might arrive. At 10 am I got a call saying it was my 30-minute window.  I now have a 30 minute wait at a storage unit - a block from their business. I can literally see their trucks parked there. When we say a 10 am pick up, it's not unreasonable to expect a close-to-10 pick up. So frustrating!!!

They moved me twice on two different occasions. Two men for $90 a hour I believe. Three men a hour is $120 I believe. Either way good job.

We recently moved into a new 5 bedroom house and had all of our property stored in a 2 car garage and 2 bedroom apartment. We had initially requested 3 men for the job, hoping it would make things quicker. We had a lot of boxes and large, heavy items. Only 2 guys showed up, but a call to the office and another guy showed up. We paid a 2 man rate for the first hour, and then 3 hours after that. 

I've only noticed 2 dings. One on our dinner table that must have had one edge on the floor because of the apparent rubbing on the edge. The other on a really heavy dresser. Nothing I would complain too much about. What we were really concerned with were that our new walls and door trim were not harmed and they weren't.

They placed each box and item of furniture where we wanted. We even had some boxes that we had already moved over sitting in the garage and they moved them into the basement.

My only complaint would be that I was charged for the time the guys were on lunch. They took about a half-hour lunch. $50 lunch is kind of expensive. You also are charged for the time it takes them to drive to your initial place and the time it takes them to get back to their office. I've never heard of that before.

We were deterred from other moving companies due to poor reviews. You get what you expect from Chet's. $600 is not a bad price to pay for moving 2/3 of a large house. Would recommend to others.
