Love this place. Super accommodating. Huge love for the sincere care towards the animals. And always willing to right their wrongs. Such a lovely place for the community all around. They really separate themselves from other zoos with both knowledge and consideration for the beautiful animals. The views are incredible too. Just make sure you get there at 2 pm at the latest to see all the animals, especially without rushing, as the entire zoo takes about 2-3 hours.

The zoo is always fantastic. We have a season pass and have for about two months. It's already paid for itself and then some. Their educational resources are wonderful and each day you can see different animal trainings and activities. This zoo is self funded so there are many feeding experiences and activities to take part in that cost. Bring an extra few dollars a kid and support their conservation efforts within the zoo as well as across the globe. I HIGHLY recommend the zoo!

I've been to a lot of zoos, and this is easily my favorite. All of the animals are in large open enclosures, so they have lots of space, and people can see them just like they would be in the wild. They have all sorts of cool stuff you might not expect, like getting to feed the giraffes and birds. Because the zoo is on the side of a mountain, it is kind of terraced, with each level higher and over a bit. The result is that you always have an incredible view of the mountains, the city, and the plains. I highly recommend going at night if you can, like for the holiday "electric safari" where the whole place is decked out in lights. It really is magical.

This is an awesome zoo! It is very interactive than the Denver Zoo, with giraffe feeding, bird feedings (my personal favorite), and the lizard house let you feel the reptiles! There was also a goat exhibit that looked very interactive, but unfortunately we got there too late. We visited during Boo at the Zoo, the Halloween event, and it was a fantastic time! There was candy every exhibit, a haunted house, and a bar at the top with an amazing view of the city! I would definitely pick this location over the Denver Zoo! It was an amazing experience!

My favorite zoo, and I've been to zoos all over the world. It's not huge, just right for a full day trip. Plus, it's organized well so you can make an efficient loop without having to cross your own path too often. There's a wide variety of animals, so no matter the weather or time of day, something is bound to be active. Some of the exhibits are a little old, but they're constantly working on updating everything. They have gluten free options in the cafe and quite a nice gift shop.
