Story

Build. Dance. Climb. Sing. Paint. Play. Learn. Discover. Imagine!

Fun and lasting memories await your family. Cruise down to KidStreet! Tune up the car before heading to the gym, put together some sandwiches and brew espresso and steam up a latte at the local cafe, make music, or produce your own play or newscast live at the studio. Open the door to adventure on the 1.5 acre Prairie! Climb hills and logs, weave through a willow tunnel, wade in a stream, build a dam, wander the prairie grass maze, and dig for dinosaur bones. Be careful not to wake up Mama and her baby boy Max, the only full size, permanent, animatronic T. rex in the United States.

A great place for kids. As the adult, be prepared to do a lot of standing around. There is a great restaurant that you can go to without paying the museum admission fee.

Visited back in June with my 4 and 1 y/o. Both kids had a blast. Many things to do for kids of all ages. They have a nice outdoor area to dig for dinosaur bones and play in the splash fountain. Probably the highlight for my kids was a little kids grocery store where they were able to "buy" their own groceries or be the grocery checkout worker. Props to the staff for keeping those selves re-stocked.

It's worth the drive to get there from Sioux Falls. We were with a 4yr. & 1 1/2 yr old. We stayed over 3 hours. Could have stayed longer but the adults were tired. Painting, grocery store, climbing areas, cultural areas in which to play, and much more.

Favorite of our toddler. There is so much to do and see, and a nice little cafe for lunch. They often have special toddler activities on Sat mornings, like playdoh and other sensory activities. The farm and grocery store are particular favorites.
