We originally signed with Accent reality and when they went out of business they sold their contracts to Choice.  For one Accent was awful, never returned phone calls, emails, deposited our income (we are the home owner) into other homeowner accounts, etc. So I was, slightly, excited to get a new company. Sandra P.  was our property manager, she actually came from Accent, and she is not the best. Its like a nightmare trip to the dentist to get anyone to follow-up with you on anything! Oh the storm blew off your shutter.......three weeks later after phone calls and emails "it's been fixed!"......three weeks later "Sandra why am I getting a HOA letter for the shutter missing on the front of the house even though you said it was fixed?". Next month's rent check, deduction for shutter repair....wait what? This is only one example. The worst is being told that you can not hold tenants responsible for damages they may/may not have done because when the company change over happened NO photos were taken of my property, NO move in inspection sheet from the tenants was collected, and NO photos from the previous tenant move out was received. Really? What kind of company doesn't complete an audit of accounts to ENSURE all required documents are there. I PAY THESE PEOPLE MONEY MONTHLY!!! I have invested over $10,000 in a company that doesn't look out for me as a homeowner! Not all of this is Sandra's fault either - management has got to get it together. If someone is out for extended periods of time, why is no one covering those properties for her? Why is there no out of office reply? Why would no one know what is going on with MY property when I call? Why, when asked to speak to a manager, no one answers or calls back?!?!?! It was so liberating to call and say I am through, give the tenants their deposit back - why should they have to wait any longer to get it, it's been over thirty days! Contract terminated. Needless to say, I would not recommend this company and I am embarrassed that I ever recommended friends at the very beginning with Accent. No one, tenant, nor homeowner, should ever feel like this.

They don't deserve the one star but I had to list something.  My experience with this group wasn't a pleasant one.  I did experience some discrimination while dealing with Choice recently.  Due to that, I am honestly questioning the validity of many of the reviews I see here.  Go with a rental company with integrity and a proven track record for fairness.

Hope all is well. This email is way overdue but I wanted to tell you how impressed my brother, sister and I were and what a pleasure it was to work with you. I have bought and sold over 20 houses and have never had a better experience with a realtor! You went above and beyond, kept us informed of everything and provided superb counsel. A super pro effort that did not go unnoticed! Thanks again for a great experience! You're the best!

If I could rate this company -10 stars I would. This is the worst company any person can do business with!!!!! The property managers are trash and they not only WONT give you you any money of your deposit but they will charge you extra afterwards. They will even charge you extra rent when you even gave all the keys days before it was due... DONT BELIEVE THE 5 STARS RATE!!!! They post that themselves and if you don’t believe me take a look of how every “good rate” is from the same “google user”. They are in the black list inside Camp Lejeune and God I hope they go out of business soon!!!
