Christian Brothers High School is the place to be for excellent academics in a nurturing, faith-filled community.
Founded in 1876 by the De La Salle Christian Brothers, Christian Brothers High School is a four-year, coeducational college preparatory high school located in Sacramento, California. Inspired by its Lasallian Catholic traditions, the institution's mission directs the school's efforts to the "intellectual and personal maturity of each student." Now on its third campus, Christian Brothers High School has made a commitment to remain in Oak Park, an economically depressed neighborhood of Sacramento, the state's capitol. The student population reflects the diversity found in the ethnic, cultural, and economic realities of the county and the school strongly encourages this diversity in the composition of its student body.
The campus, which lies on twenty-four acres, is characterized by openness and beauty. Its facilities include the recently opened state-of-the-art Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Wing, classroom buildings, learning commons, two gymnasiums, a performing arts center, extensive athletic fields, television studio facilities, a technology center, and art studios.
