Very bad. Recently, on a day when it was pouring rain, I went there  because there was a problem with my gears and I couldn't ride my bike. It was the closest place to my job in Jackson Heights. The repair guy tells me it was gonna cost $40 for the 7 speed gear and $30 for the chain and $10 plus tax to replace gear and chain, all prices that just flew out of his mouth. There was no checking or giving me a range. I was stuck and the guy, seeing my situation, knew it. I asked him how much for a rear tire, he said $40 and asked me if I wanted it and I said no that price is way to high. He fixed it and I left feeling disgusted.

I ordered a tire from Amazon, got it in 2 days - total cost $18.75. I went to Spin City Cycle the owner there was cordial and when he was about to take my tire off he quickly noticed that there was a problem with my brakes. I asked him how much for the breaks and labor for the tire change, he checked and everything came out to about $29 with tax. That felt reasonable and I didn't feel like he was trying to hustle me. He was a decent guy, he even asked me to wait because he noticed that the customer before me was having trouble putting her bike in the back of her car so he went out and helped her. At Cigi, they would probably charge you $5 dollars for helping someone like that.

The guy at Cigi either didn't notice or didn't care that another human being that he just fleeced out of $80 was going to be riding around with bad breaks. There's another guy with a gravelly voice probably from smoking too much, that may be the owner at Cigi, I dealt with him a few years ago when I went to get a flat fixed. He carries a vibe of bitterness with life and a lack of gratitude toward having a business that, unfortunately, customers keep alive. 

Stay away from here unless you enjoy bad attitudes, bad service and being overcharged.

I've read reviews for this shop. Eventually I walked by and asked them to fix on my bike! They're very nice.

I have experience with bike parts and I needed a lognut for my baby's stroller. This was the first place that apparead on the map and the owner sold me a little lognut for $3 USD. That's an abuse when in my bike shop in Mexico we sell them by pair and costs $5 MXN. I would never go back!

The attendant is very rude i dont mind if he is the owner here in jackson heights..bad image for your service.. He lack the skill of customer service and people communication. It was my first visit and it will be the last. Nyc bikers should avoid these particular branch.. It is better to pay extra for a good service and respectable impression.

The best bike shop in ALL NYC. Anita is the master of masters in every single aspect (25 years of exp) , her customer service is warm-hearted, kind and generous. They posses all kind of brands GT, TREK, GIANT, ETC and all the accessories right when you need (People do need to pay for shipping and handling). You will accomplish more by going to CIGI BICICLE SHOP .... AND YES! I am so happy because they help me on my Giant and now my Trek  and I can not wait to go back and get my #3.
