Was visiting Brentwood and we came across this place trying to find affordable good food. The prices were great and the food was even better. Bonus points because the salsa was so tasty. We came for lunch specials and enjoyed everything we had
We have had great experiences at Cinco de Mayo in Brentwood! It is always busy especially during dinner -which is a good sign - but sometimes the service can be a little slow because of this. Our servers are always very pleasant. I look forward to the chips and salsa here - their salsa is excellent! You can tell it is always fresh and has a nice kick. I love getting their sopa de pollo chicken soup, some may call it chicken tortilla soup at other restaurants.
GREAT food, close to our Hotel walking distance. The bag of chips were huge compared to most take-out restaurants. Salsa had a bit of a kick, but I love kick’n salsa. The chicken burrito was delicious and the chicken & rice smothered in cheese sauce was to die for! I had them add shrimp with the order along with the chicken. They were jumbo and cooked perfectly! Highly recommend!!
My wife and I call in for lunch. It's very popular, but we rarely have to wait and the staff always greet you with enthusiasm and a smile. It's clean, it's tidy and it's welcoming. The atmosphere is tremendously authentic. Better yet, the food is fantastic. I rarely award 5 stars because there's always room for improvement, but you could travel far and pay a great deal more, for a lot less than Cinco De Mayo has to offer.
Good food and service at fast speeds. Coulda been a little cleaner, but it was New Year’s Eve so they get a pass. Would visit again
We had a large group including 3 wheelchairs. They were very accommodating to us. The staff made us feel welcomed. Plus the food was spectacular. Our server, Antonio, was phenomenal and very kind. We were full and very pleased upon leaving. Yes, I do recommend!
Very good Mexican restaurant with nice ambiance. Is very busy during lunch. The staff is awesome and food is a nice selection with a red sauce that is delicious. Coke products are offered. The enchiladas are to kill for! Will be happy to go back as soon as I can.
Consistently good food, well made, and presented in a very appetizing way. Be sure to ask for the spicy salsa as it isn't just spicy, it's more flavorful than the regular one served with the tortilla chips.
My party came here after a horrible experience at Uncle Julio’s, and we will be coming here from now on. We were sat immediately, and the service was quick and friendly. Drinks were refilled without asking, and the food came out in record time. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. I would strongly recommend making this your local Brentwood Mexican restaurant.
LOVE! This is my favorite Mexican place to eat around! Their food is so flavorful and their salsa is amazing. Been eating here and another location they have for over 16 yrs and still a huge fan! Can’t go wrong eating here
