Cashier just now charged me $1.30 for a large "slurpie", and when I advised she charged to much she said "that's the price for them here". When every other Circle K charges .99 cents. (and that was after waiting in line for 10 min!) Well, it's back to QT for me!

I have been a frequent patron of this establishment and I was appalled to gaze upon the sight I saw when entering the premises. I opened the doors and walked into the building. I saw a man to the left laying on the floor behind the checkout counter. As I continued my journey to the beverage cooler, I convinced myself that the man on the floor must have been a mirage, as no reputable employee would have allowed himself to be seen in that state. Upon obtaining my merchandise, I redirected and began to walk towards the checkout counter. To my surprise, there was not a friendly face to greet me. Instead, I had to set my merchandise on the counter and look around the store and venture for my salesman. Surprisingly, a scruffy looking long-haired man arose from beyond the counter. He looked as if he was dazed and confused and he had no idea why I was standing in front of him. I smiled at the man as he blankly stared at the beef jerky behind me. As the customers behind me grew weary, I drew my tender from my wallet. I held my currency out stretched in front of me while the man looked at me with a state of confusion. An excruciating amount of time had passed to where I questioned the man's state of consciousness. It was at this point where the name John crossed my periphery. I could not help but to think to myself, "Jordan would never treat a patron in this manner." The man asked me if I had anymore requests, and despite my requests, he preceded with my transaction anyway. I politely asked the man if he could oblige me with a product beyond my reach. He responded to me with a pained sigh before turning his back and attempting to locate my merchandise. Before proceeding with my request, he managed to look over his shoulder to make aggressive eye contact with me; I was his mortal enemy at this point. I stood at the register in disdain, captivated by the man's inability to fulfill simple requests. All the while, the multitude of patrons behind me were becoming uneasy. Given the predicament I was in, I found myself in haste trying to vacate the premises. My only wish was to leave. However, John miscalculated the transaction. I found myself overpaying for mediocre service. Noticing this error, I brought it to John's attention. Unfortunately John did not realize his careless oversight. The patrons behind me grew unweary. Out of pure disgust of incompetence, I left my change on the counter with complete disbelief; I could not believe that this endeavor had actually occurred. I walked back to my vehicle knowing that I would never cross through these thresholds again. No respectable person would recommend this establishment.
