Idiots run this bank.  The same type of idiots that run 7-Elevens everywhere in this country... you know the type.  I closed my accounts there today because they have no customer service what-so-ever.  They can not even send you an email or a fax confirming they received a request.  "Sorry we can not send you a confirmation that you requested to close your accounts today".  How unprofessional is that?  
The reason I closed my accounts is because they wanted to charge me $15.00 per month to have both my business checking accounts open.  $360.00 per year in fees with no customer service, no interest, no ATM's near me (I relocated my business up near Tampa, FL), and when I spoke to the manager Don Mohan (sp?) he didn't care.  "Sorry I can not waive the fees".   Idiot just lost all my business.   Obviously the people in the home office do not care either.  They leave the waiving of the fees up to the individual branches.   Dumb!  Penny wise - dollar foolish I say.  
I moved my accounts to Chase.  Lower bank fees - lower merchant processing fees, excellent customer service  and a ton more features (I should have done it years ago).   Good Bye Citibank - you suck.

What kind of a bank NEVER answers their phone, not never?! I have a question regarding my safety deposit box, at this branch, and have been trying to get through to them all week. I'm elderly and live over a half hour's drive from there. Otherwise, I would just go over there and speak with someone, assuming this crappy bank is even open. Therefore, I called the Citigold 800 number and spoke with a very helpful and professional sounding representative. The rep said he could get through to them on a special, unpublished number. But even HE couldn't get through and got the same automated message as I get whenever I call. Upon reaching the automated attendant, you are told you will be able to leave a message. But a few seconds later you're told the operator is not available and that you CANNOT leave a message!  So now, my only alternative is to write them a letter and send it via "snail mail." I find it absolutely deplorable that neither Citibank's customers or even their own people can contact this branch by phone.  Apparently, they just do not want to be bothered, BY ANYONE!!

I have a account with Citibank.the reason for my visit today was to open my savings account. One lady came in and took a man that came in after me. And no one still has yet to acknowledged me. After waiting 25 mintues I left. NO ONE said anything. I will be changing banks, customer  service sucks.

Same thing as Neal!  Cannot get ahold of the branch and the 800 number could not get ahold of the branch either!
