Chill vibe. Trendy spacious bar area. Limited menu with some interesting offerings, dinner was good (but could have been a little hotter). Wait staff occasionally distracted.

We came with a bunch of kids around 2:30 PM, between the lunch and dinner rush. They enjoyed it. I found their burger and onion rings well made, with a unique flavor. The chicken nuggets from the kids menu (they are larger then what fast food joints make - more like mini cutlets) are also very good. The cost for a family of seven came to $85 before tips and everyone was full and satisfied. The staff were very friendly.

23 violations, 7 food-borne illness risks on 9/25/17 inspection. Brisket in steam table was not held at the required temperature; facility lacked sufficient thermometers for taking temperature of various Kosher Foods; containers of food on floor in walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer; utensils stored in stagnant water along cooks line; food handlers lacked beard/hair restraints; food prep sink plumbing was leaking into basement near dump sink; facility lacking variance for smoker in back of building; raw shelled eggs were found over ready-to-eat food items in walk-in cooler.

Went there a few days ago for the third time and was thoroughly impressed! The décor is beautiful and the outside seating is so nice. The first two times we went, we weren't so impressed with the food but something definitely changed because everything was delicious this time! We were told that they hired a new chef and you can tell! The food was presented beautifully and tasted even better! So happy to have a restaurant like this with an awesome bar in the area! Thank you for the constant upkeep!

I had been excited to try Citron and Rose, eagerly awaiting its opening throughout what seemed like a very long remodeling. First, my wife and I tried to go on a Saturday evening, but they are observant and not open on Saturdays. We finally went as a family on a weeknight. We were a party of four, including a 2 year old. The ambiance was nice; A much-appreciated update from the previous restaurant at this site. Service was attentive. We were told that some items were unavailable because they were about to change their menu. This seems like a very good idea. The meal started out well with a delicious serving of corn bread. I had the burger, which I ordered medium but was cooked to well. A companion had fish and chips, which arrived with fresh (American) potato chips (think 'Lays') and not french fries as I think most would expect. Another companion had the chicken pot pie, which was enjoyable. The 2 year old had chicken and french fries off of the kid's menu. The chicken was fresh and appropriately bland for a child's meal, but, for the first time ever, he did not eat his french fries. They were heavily seasoned with pepper. The fries were delicious for an adult's pallet, but overwhelming for a child. Overall the food and experience were fine, though short of what one probably expects for the price. We'll go back after the menu is replaced, but expectations are not high.
