Fine dining restaurant located in the heart of beautiful downtown redlands.
Founded in 1995 by Michael and Susan Phillips, Citrone started in a small space at the historic Redlands Train Depot. With $36,000 to start the Phillips developed one of the premiere restaurants in the Inland Empire.
In 1999 Citrone moved into the historic 1902 brick building at 328 Orange Street. The main dining room features the original brick walls and embossed tin ceiling and seats approximately 90.
After an incredibly successful run of over 22 years, the Phillps achieved a dream and purchased a winery in Newberg, Oregon- soon to be one of the top wineries in Oregon with several offerings coming to the Citrone wine list.
The restaurant was sold to three University of Redlands graduates: Brandon Pearce, Aaron Fletcher and Dan Isham. Brandon is a 4th generation Redlander with strong ties and love for the community. Dan and Aaron worked at Citrone back in the early years and continue to be grateful for the for the lessons Mike taught them. All three are very appreciative and excited to continue the success of Citrone.
The Citrone menu offers a wide variety of fresh California and Mediterranean cuisine featuring a selection of fresh salads, pastas, fish and prime meats, as well as a number of vegetarian items. In addition to our regular menu we also offer up to a dozen daily seasonal specials.
Citrone has been a Wine Spectator "Award of Excellence" winner each year since 1998. We are proud to be the longest running continuous recipient of this award in the Inland Empire. We cellar over four hundred selections with a focus on California and West coast wines which we feel best compliment our food.
Citrone also offers a full bar including a wide selection of premium liquors, craft beers, cognacs, ports, martinis and mixed drinks.
