The current building was built on the property in 1919. City Bakery has been in business as a bakery and coffee shop since. With a Vitrolite facade and neon sign, added in the 30's, the bakery has a very Retro look and feel.
You'll find a wide variety of sweets to meet any need or occasion. We typically start each day with 48 or more kinds of gourmet raised rolls and donuts. Hand decorated and personally designed cakes of all kinds are a specialty. Try our deli sandwiches all made on our breads and rolls. We are also a custom bakery, being able to make almost anything for you with 24 hours notice.
