I am was so impressed with the service here at midtown location. My sales rep was Peter and he was very helpful and patient. I have never been to any store where I was offered wine. That right there is what I call class A service. I was very happy with the selections of furniture that I had a difficult time in deciding on my final purchase . Definitely a positive issue. I would be returning to this City Furniture for future purchases.

Dario is an incredible asset to city furniture. If it wasn’t for him we would have left the store. I am in international homeowner in Miami and needed next day delivery. With all the delivery drivers busy, he called several of his personal Contacts in order to get the parcels delivered on time. Dario went above and beyond, I have never experienced this type of customer service at the retail level. Highly recommend midtown Miami city furniture and highly recommend Dario. Also thanks to Benny the branch manager for sticking around after hours to finalize the deal! Highly recommend this place and both employees!

Great experience when I went to purchase bunk beds for kids after that when I was missing one of the mattress they brushed me off forever to get in contact with. I called the store they kept hanging up on me. Day 4 and I'm still waiting on a reply or someone to call me back. Then they have the nerve to tell me I have to have the things in boxes if I want to return it. They were quick to take my money but now they don't want my business.

In terms of the showroom and purchase process, it was great. The staff in the showroom was friendly and helpful (Lexy in particular). We bought a couch a few weeks before moving into a new apartment so the delivery was to be scheduled originally on the move in date (Saturday). The order was then transferred to the customer service department. One week before the move-in, we are informed that they cannot deliver on the scheduled date due to a full schedule for that day. It is rescheduled for the following Monday 9am-1pm (Mind you a elevator reservation with our building must be made for every delivery attempt). On Monday, after waiting the full 4 hours for them to deliver the couch they don’t show up. After 15+ min on hold, I get ahold of customer service only to find out the delivery had been cancelled due to a “zip code error” without so much as a phone call to let us know ahead of time. They apologize and again reschedule for the next day (Tuesday 1-5pm). After specifically telling them that I need this delivered before a certain time (in order to not miss more hours of work), Tuesday 3:30pm comes around and once again nothing. I call customer service again, this time I find out the delivery was once again cancelled due to an “internal error”. By this point, I have missed a full work day waiting for this delivery. They apologize, offer me a store credit or 50% off the delivery fee. I reject both, and demand that they refund me the delivery fee which they eventually obliged. Delivery is again rescheduled and the couch is finally delivered Friday within the scheduled time frame. A total of 4 attempts and 12 work hours missed is what gives this 1 star rating.

Was extremely disappointed with this purchase. The sales representative (Felipe) did not make any notes of delivery date & time. It seemed like his mind was elsewhere when we planned the delivery. Up until the day before the delivery, the time that Felipe had confirmed with the store customer service was completely wrong. We ended up staying home all afternoon waiting for the pieces of furniture to be delivered and they finally arrived 2h30 delayed. My building would not accept the delay but I asked them to make an exception because we would not have other times available to wait for delivery again. Hadn’t my building made an exception, I would have cancelled this purchase. Overall, it was a complete HEADACHE to receive the items. I’ll not be purchasing from City Furniture again.
