I've lived in the City of Pharr for well over 15 years now. I love this city so much. All my schools were nearby, the area where I live in is peaceful, and the city is growing beautifully. I graduated from PSJA North High School in Pharr where I received BOTH my high school diploma and my Associates in Criminal Justice. I was then offered a job by the City of Pharr Fire Department to work as a dispatcher. Internally I could tell you myself this city is doing excellent. The city is growing and the mayor and manager are very wonderful people. I have never wanted to move to another place. I'm now attending school in Edinburg and the city is just so close by and everything is so convenient. Sure, there might be negative reviews on here on some bad experience a person might have had, but how many of us haven't had a bad experience? It doesn't mean the city is bad, it just means we had that one unfortunate negative experience. I encourage people to explore the city and if you ever call 911 needing the fire department, I might just answer the phone.

Best city in the whole RGV. I say every city has there problem section at least Pharr takes care ALL of theirs, from Military all the way to Owasa.

idk Pharr,Texas but as far as i can see its not what i like i like different types of things like living in California is a great place im living in California.

if you would like being harassed by the police then you would like the city of pharr. I got a ticket for having my high beams on in a dark street close to my house and the police officer I guess needed to meet his quota decided to give me a ticket. They gave me a certain date with a 30 minute window for me to go talk to the prosecutor which I wasn't able to get there in time because of the traffic and they already had an arrest warrant for me. When they were trying to steal my truck I called them and they never showed up. I wish I had the option of selling my house and moving to a different city
