We arrived and checked in, which was almost a 30 minute process. We got to our room and the key didn't work, so we had to return to the front desk. Twenty minutes later we were able to get into our room. 

Upon entering, we tried to turn on the entryway light, but it wouldn't work.  After turning on a functioning light, we saw that there actually was no bulb in the entryway light fixture. There were also missing bulbs on the desk lamp. We went back down to the front desk to get a bulb. They were very overwhelmed and asked if we could just install it.

The shower had a mosquito and a spider in it. Above the window at the ceiling was water damage and what appeared to be a fungus or mushroom growing of some sort? 

The continental breakfast was cheerios and oranges, nothing else. This is not the continental breakfast we've come to know from staying at other hotels, and not fancy hotels either. We were told the low selection was due to the hotel being sold out, so I guess the other guests got all the other breakfast stock before us?

Because of this we opted to order their "cooked hot breakfast." We ordered a breakfast sandwich and their classic egg and sausage breakfast, which took 30 minutes to get. 

We are really disappointed. This hotel had great reviews online, but I don't think we could ever recommend it to someone looking for a place to stay in the area. Woman at front desk was helpful with the key and bulb, but overall the stay was not at all what we expected.

I wouldn't suggest this hotel to anybody unless their simply looking for an in and out stay. The cleanliness in bathrooms is not very well, as well as the wait staff is poor. If your not a man with money good luck getting a waitress to your table. The risk of getting ill from improper cooked food is a possibility. In my opinion this place could seek better standards for hiring purposes. Hospitality is supposed to be key in hotel management..

This is an old Holiday Inn so the architecture and design is dated even though it has been nicely renovated. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was well kept and clean. I do have a few complaints. The continental breakfast is sad and really a joke. The restaurant was not open for breakfast. The ice machines were broke on both floors, and there are no working vents in the bathrooms so once you take a shower you can forget using the mirrors. If you are 6 foot tall I hope you're flexible enough to use the shower heads which are about 5 foot off the ground. Despite the complaints I I would consider staying here again although it probably would not be my first choice.

Great staff, genuinely friendly and accommodating. Extremely clean and amazingly comfortable bedding. Great value ,great experience.

Rooms are clean and spacious for the price. The staff are all exceptionally nice and very accommodating. Pool was broken when we checked in, but their sister hotel down the street were allowing all guests to the property if you wished to go swimming. Overall, I would recommend staying here.
